I saw this on the News lastnite and thought i would check it out. You can now look up a restraunt by name and location and find out if they have had any violations with the health department. The site only covers the Kern County area. It will be helpful in deciding where to eat....

Are cesspools in Kern County/Tehachapi illegal? And if so who would you contact to report one?
My mother was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas in November last year. She finally started her Radiation and Chemo about 2 weeks ago and has about 4 weeks left. And she is driving herself to bakersfield everyday and i cannot take her everyday.
Is there anyone else in Tehachapi going to Bakersfield daily for these kind of treatments? If so would you be interested in ride shareing? Is there any kind of transportation locally that would provide services daily for something like this?
