Happy New Year everyone!! I hope everyone has a great New Year and i pray that everyone stays safe tonite!!!
I just visited this site to see what is new in Tehachapi this week, seeing how the paper is out today. I saw the article about the man who raped the mentally handicapp woman. I was instantly sickened!! That is just plain sick!! She only has the mentallity of a 3 to 5 year old so he basically raped a child in an adult body.
I am wondering if anyone else feels as sickened as i am right now?
I hope and pray the justice system throws the book at him and he is punished to the fullest extent of...

This morning i was getting my child on the bus ( which stops in front of my house) and the bus driver had the flashing lites on. A driver decided that they couldnt wait and ignored the lites and continued by, disregarding the safety of my child and other children. If the driver would of been going slow enough i would of gotten the plates and called the sherriff.

My mother was just diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas with 12 months to live. I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any support groups locally for her and for the family? Recently i have seen alot of articles written about a new police station in Golden Hills and the City adding their own police force. This is great because Tehachapi needs more law enforcement with the population growth.
My concern is also for the Ambulance services in Tehachapi. To my knowledge there is only ONE ambulance permantly stationed to cover Tehachapi and all the surrounding area's such as Golden Hills, Stallion Springs, Bear Valley, Alpine Forest, and etc. I don't know how...
