Anything from depression to an as yet to be determined diagnosis etc. You don't have to be local though there are local chapters all over. You could go to NAMI's website and look it up. I don't have the website info handy but type in NAMI and the site will come up. If  you want to come to our local meeting you don't have to do anything just listen if thats all you are comfortable with. These are confidential meetings. The info you get is invaluable and there will be a guest speaker at tonight's meeting from Kern Mental Health. Anyone who has a loved one whether they live with you or are a relative, friend etc will benefit from these meetings. Hope to see you there.

What is the severity of the mental illness that  this group accepts?  Do the families have to be local residents to participate?
