For the first time, Mexican officials in these states admit there is hard evidence illegal immigrants are preparing to leave because new employer sanctions laws are making it difficult, if not impossible, for them to keep a job. posted by

Illegal immigrant criminals in Arizona, Tennessee and New Jersey are going back to Mexico or where ever Else they came from. Those states are restoring hope in the American people. It is restoring hope in me that this country will be saved.

Alabama shouldn't have to deal with this immigration problem. It is a federal problem that the government doesn't want to enforce. It's hard to believe our politicians have sold us out, but they have. President Bush has had most of our military running around in the Middle East trying to secure other countries' borders while our country is being overrun. What's wrong with this picture? posted by

Illegal immigrants taxing legal system
WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- U.S. immigration officials said they doubled the number of deportation proceedings as enforcement increases in the nation's courts, The Washington Post said.U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials are combing through court cases, criminal records, jails and courtrooms to identify immigrants eligible for deportation following age-old accusations that the matter went largely ignored. ICE's Criminal Alien Program joined forces with local agents and thousands of detention facilities and police departments across the nation are sending their officers to ICE training programs. Authorities involved in immigration law told the Post that, as a result, the legal community is overwhelmed with very minor offenses as illegal immigration becomes a matter of anxiety in the United States. "Cities are overwhelmed with the consequences and costs of illegal immigration," one judge said. "It's a concerted effort to get rid of them, get them out of their community." Denise Slavin, the vice president of the National Association of Immigration Judges, said the system is suffering as enforcement initiatives aren't on par with financial support. "It's been a big burden on our system," Slavin told the Post. "We're dealing with more complex cases and fewer resources." posted by

starbucks you are so correct. McCain wants to give the illegals basically Amnesty.Obama wants to fine them a ''large''sum of money and have them then English then give them amnesty. Reagan, Clinton and especially Bush has sold the working man and America and it's values down the river over cheap labor. And the American people pay the price. This is why more and more states are starting to tackle the illegal immigration problem themselves. It seems that almost every state except California has passed or or looking to pass some kind illegal immigration reform. Arizona, Tennessee, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Utah, Wyoming are just some of the states that have passed effective illegal immigration laws that I think will make a difference. A while back Bush said in a interview that the states need to stop taking illegal immigration into their own hands. Bush said that the job of enforcing illegal immigration was the Federal governments. Then he said that they are already doing a good job. ha ha what a A--Hole. posted by

Kansas Illegal Immigration Relief Act_SB 458, HB 2370, HB 2680, HB 2836, HB 2921: Immigration reform is a major issue in this year’s session. These bills would authorize state and local authorities to enforce federal immigration law; prohibit illegal immigrants from receiving state services and repeal a state law giving the children of illegal immigrants’ in-state tuition at state colleges and universities. They would also require employers to use the federal E-Verify system to check residency of new hires, and impose fines on companies that knowingly hire illegal immigrants. Would also allow authorities to end state contracts or strip the business license of companies knowingly employing illeg posted by
