aliens are a bunch of no good law breakers that need to be punished for their crimes against America Illegal. I want them punished and deported for their crimes. It is wrong not to punish law breakers. I wanr employers that hire illegals jailed.

Arizona and Tennessee has both passed laws that hold employers responsible for hiring illegal immigrants.They know that the feds aren't going to protect and serve the American citizens so they passed laws to end the hiring of illegal. If it works then i expect other states to follow their example. now all we need to do is stop giving illegals free anything. treat them for what they are criminals

Gube, we all see that you have strong opinions about illegal immigration but OTHER than posting on this blog what have you done for this cause? Have you done anything at all other than sit behind your computer? It's no suprise that nothing has changed for the better when the people who want change do nothing to make it happen.

And, gube how will YOU determine who is an illegal immigrant?  By the color of their skin?  Yes! That's the answer to handeling the illegal immigration problem.  Start treating them badly.  Don't forget to mention that it's Billionares on both sides of the borders that exploit the poor and underprivelage that drives illegal immigration.  Does anyone every pose the question, how much money do illegal immigrants or low wage earners save our consumers or contribute to our GNP?  If they weren't a vitale labor source to Big Business believe me THERE WOULDN'T BE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION!  Don't blame the poor and unfortunate that want to reap the benefits of our beautifal country.  It's very convenient to paint this picture of latino illegal immigrants being bumbeling criminals.  Never mind that illegal immigrants come from all over the world in various fashions. (Eastern Europe, China, the Middle East etc.)  Remember illegal immigration wasn't as big as a problem when there was an open border in the south.  Immigration then was a migrant function where most workers went back to their country.  However, once immigrants started getting organized, becoming LEGAL citizens and forming unions, they became more expensive to employ!  With our economy becoming Global, our economy depends on low wage earners to compete with international companies who do exploit their workers because they don't have the same labor laws that we have in place.  Thus this is a global problem that can not be solved by the simple act as treating them like criminals!

Vader with 81% of all illegals being from Mexico or other Latino county you can easy see why the Mexicans or Latinos are in the for front of illegal immigration.Its the facts i am not making this up.I agree that the ''need'' for cheap labor is one of the problems. Employers that hire illegals need to be held accountable. It will be interesting to watch what happens in Arizona and Tennessee. They have passed laws to hold the employers accountable in the practice of hiring illegal immigrants.The first time they are caught they must fire the illegal and the second time they loose their business license. Other states will be watching to see if the new laws work and if they do they  will pass similar laws. The states know that the fed gov is not going to enforce the laws so they are doing it them self's. American citizens are tired of the invasion and want it to end. As far as not to blame the illegals i say BS to that . they are breaking the law and they need to held accountable.I would really like to see Mexico start to be responsible for their citizens.They are Mexico citizens not American citizens.It goes for all the country's that are failing their people. America can only do so much. What are we supposed to do ,take on all the worlds poor? There needs to be a systematic process and right now there is not one in place. If the roles where reversed would Mexico open their arms to the Americans or would they say this is BS. We all know the answer to that.

Gube thank you for your chart because it illustrates what I wrote.  Illegal immigration is a global problem.  Now it seems that we are not in disagreement in regards of exploiting cheap labor.  However the images that you use to make Latino's as the Poster Children of the problem spreads fear and hatred towards a group of people that are for the most part harmless and are trying to find a better life for themselves.  It's easy to point the finger and make fun of them and showcase the ridiculous length they take to get into this country.  I'm not in favor of Illegal Immigration, but what I'm against is the exploitation of the poor and unfortunate.  Mexico's a beautiful country with beautiful hard working people.  It has all of the natural resources it needs but years of Government corruption have led to a misuse of the distribution of wealth resulting in the disintegration of their middle class.  I can go into the U.S. taking part in unfair trade practices with Mexico, but I really don't have the time to get into it.  In any case, the powerful have used a tactic that pits the working class and the poor against each other that distracts them from realizing the real culprits in their struggles.  Whether it's race or in this case illegal immigrants, the working class has to stop attacking each other if they want real change and start holding the powers that be accountable for exploiting the poor.

I don't find humor in exploiting people, because you should do what is humane!  These are people with family and children!  Mothers and fathers!  Does this man want to take responsiblity for breaking up family units?!  How soulless can a person be?  You don't treat people like animals and thats a basic civil right.  What is being created with this type of behavior is a vigilante goon squad that get their rocks off by treating people like animals.  Why do people have problems with illegals immigrants that are willing to work?  Really.  What's the problem?  Explain to me, why are people who are willing to do an honest days work  treated like animals?

My sister lives and works in Camarillo, close to Oxnard.  She works for a well known restaurant chain there.  She tells me of all the garbage that goes on down there.  There was one woman inparticular who was hired (she was illegal), but quit when her SSN went bad.  I guess she found a new one that is good and is now back with that same company and same job, new last name.    She is white, and everyone else that works there is an illegal.   She tells me of one man who is going to jail soon because he has three DUI's.   She asked me, if he is illegal, will they ship him back over after he serves his sentence and I said yep, but little good it does.   I guess I don't understand why the "Viva la Mexico" bumper stickers and mentality, and yet run from that Mexico they are promoting.    Little of it makes much sense to me.

Vicky did you read a couple of my entries on this matter?  Maybe that'll help you understand why people immigrate illegally into this country.

Vader i do agree with most of what you posted. we just have different views. You seem like a logical person and i do enjoy your comments. Illegal immigration is a very complex problem that has no easy fix. I do know that my rants are just that rants. The invasion of illegals into the US is only part of a bigger problem. Mexico and other country's have failed their people. Those country's can not expect the US to do the job that they are failing to do and that is to take care of their own citizens. I personally believe that it is a shame that a third world country borders the US. Its a black eye to failed policy's. Instead of helping out a neighboring country we are off killing people in Iraq, But that's another rant:)
