Wait a minute Gube--illegal aliens come from Canada, South America, Australia and many other countries.  Why didn't you highlight these countries green too?  Or is it just Mexicans you don't like?????  It sure looks like that by the map you posted!!!

Awsmom you want to know why the Hispanics are usually the ones singled out. Check out the pie chart. In 2004-- 81% of all illegal immigrants came from Mexico or other Latin Countries.  The truth speaks for its self. So you see there is nothing racial about this its just the facts.

Gube, the views you have expressed on occasion seem to represent a form of biggotry. Facts and percentages do not excuse biggotry. Putting up a pie chart showing the ethnic breakdown of the population is not a defense for biggotry. I also am very much opposed to the manner in which our country is avoiding the effective handling of the illegal immigrant problem. So in that area I agree with you. However, when you choose to post an "e-mail" you received and say that "no one sent you anything else" (and that is your defense), you may have chosen a questionable path. There is a difference between patriotism and patriiotism that maquerades as something else. Some of your posts really hurt the views of those that truly oppose illegal immigration and do not border on biggotry. Just give it some thought. I know you appreciate everyone's views on the topic.
