I believe it is real. From what I've looked in to, each tax payer can expect at least a $300 refund. Married couples filing jointly will recieve a $1200 refund, plus an additional $300 refund for each dependent child. Don't quote me exactly on this, but I think it's really close. I'm sorry to say that I "stimulated" the economy with this money last year, and will now support my credit agency with this refund. posted by

i think this schedule was for the extra refund we got a few years ago. The one we are getting now is NOT a refund, it is a rebate posted by

The IRS is sending out a letter to everyone getting a tax rebate letting them know when to expect the refund---it cost the IRS an estimated 42 million dollars in manpower and postage to send the letter out. No wonder we are heading into a recession!
