Is this real?

I believe it is real.  From what I've looked in to, each tax payer can expect at least a $300 refund.  Married couples filing jointly will recieve a $1200 refund, plus an additional $300 refund for each dependent child.  Don't quote me exactly on this, but I think it's really close.  I'm sorry to say that I "stimulated" the economy with this money last year, and will now support my credit agency with this refund.

Hmmm..........I thought I read somewhere checks will be mailed in early May and it will take May and June for all checks to be mailed.   Eligible taxpayers will receive between $300 to $600 if single or $600 to $1,200 if married filing jointly. All the IRS info is here http://www.irs.gov/irs/arti...   What is the source behind this chart?

Well then at least we'll be getting ours sooner than later! :) I heard the same thing Smokey. That's why I asked!

This money will be going directly into savings.....woohooo....................I'm going to FINALLY own a home! :)

ALSO if your refund was direct deposited they will direct deposit to your account

i think this schedule was for the extra refund we got a few years ago.  The one we are getting now is NOT a refund, it is a rebate

The IRS is sending out a letter to everyone getting a tax rebate letting them know when to expect the refund---it cost the IRS an estimated 42 million dollars in manpower and postage to send the letter out.  No wonder we are heading into a recession!
