Gube you are clearly a glutton for punishment - and don't forget, gluttony is one of the seven dealy sins. Here's a friendly tip to consider on a monthly basis: Never quote scripture to any women who may at any given time within the next 28 days be experiencing symptoms of PMS - unless you wish to be biblically smote. I suggest you buy a calendar and start watching for the little tell-tale signs...I will pray for you. The top 13 definitions for PMS: 1. Pass My Shotgun

“I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanness.” That’s no longer true. Here is statement from Matthew Henry Concise Commentary on the Whole Bible, Chapter 15, Laws concerning ceremonial uncleanness. “We need not be curious in explaining these laws; but have reason to be thankful that we need fear no defilement, except that of sin, nor need ceremonial and burdensome purifications. These laws remind us that God sees all things, even those which escape the notice of men. The great gospel duties of faith and repentance are here signified, and the great gospel privileges of the application of Christ's blood to our souls for our justification, and his grace for our sanctification.” The bottom line, Jesus Christ fulfilled the law when he died on the cross for all our sins (uncleanness), past, present and future. Even for the sins of a nonbeliever. Therefore you need not to fear being around these women during their menstrual cycle as mentioned in this part of Leviticus. posted by

Ohhhhhhhhhhh....so the laws in Lev are no longer applicable? Hmmm, then that must include the one about homosexuality, right? posted by

Joty, I answered specifically to the Gube's question, not to the book of Leviticus. http://bible1.crosswalk.com...

Joty, "Please comment on the subject of the post itself" is the rule here. LMAO Job! As always, "do as I say, not as I do". No thanks to your link. I've read the bible many times. We can all intrepret it to mean anything we want... posted by

gube, they train dogs to sniff out all kinds of things. Adopt a pet, teach him/her to hunt out what you want found, & voila! You've killed two birds with one stone! ;-) posted by

Job, Jesus washed away all of our sins but not that of the original sin is what you are saying then. Why else would women still bleed? posted by

LMAO oochild, and I can't stop the mental picture you have now placed in my head. It also makes me think back to my friend's dog who the minute you stepped into the house, his nose was in your crotch. posted by

Oohchild, I understand what you are saying. When my late wife was receiving chemo for 34 months she didn't have a period. She was happy and so was I. But I'd give just about anything to have her back with her periods. posted by
