Old news?

I was just wondering if there was ever any more news on that double homicide that happened there in Tehachapi a few years ago.  The two men were shot to death in the backyard/alley across from the park.  I know they were looking for someone at one time but I never heard anything else, did they just let this go to a cold case file and just give up, or did the Sheriff Dept even pursue this seriously.  I mean after all, both men that were murdered had a long record of convictions so they obviously werent as important as the next upstanding citizen.  Let me know if you have heard any news.

FOR THAT MATTER:  have they any further information on the woman that was stabbed to death out on hwy 202.  That was a few weeks before the double homicide.

Last i heard they were still looking for one of the killers but that has been a while..Me and my family actually lived right next door to the murders. My daughter was in her room playing when the murders happened and her window to her room was about 25 feet from one of the men that was murdered. Two of the people that lived there in the basement were dealing drugs and everyone knew what they were doing but yet nothing was being done about it.

The two men that died that day did not deserve to have their lives taken over drugs. A life is worth more than that. I hope that they did find the killer and that he pays a high price. If they have not found the killer i do hope they are still looking.

eekitsaspider.....so did you live on the east side or west side of the Lee residence?  Did you know that the man that got stabbed to death the other day in the trailer court was the man that was living in that basement Jason Lee?  I know that one man was in the basement and one was just at the top of the basement steps.  What a horrible thing for their families.  And what a complete waste.  Did you live in those little houses on the west side?

I lived on the west side of them i believe... I think i got my directions right.lol I lived at 309 and the Lee house i think is 315, but i could be wrong about that too...lol

I am not sure if the man that was stabbed to death was Jason Lee the one living in the basement or not?

Thankyou Jewels for clearing that up for me. I do not know Jason or his family personally we only lived next door to them for about 6 months until the murders. Then we were out of there in a flash for the safety of our family. But i do wish the family well they have alot to deal with right now.

I do not condone any of the incidents of this kind, but my heart goes out to everyone involved.  Especially the kids caught in the crossfire.

I used to own those houses at 309, that block was called tweeker alley.  Don't miss being  there for a minute, but the Lee's were always curteous to me

I wonder too if anything was ever done about the woman shot to death in the house accross from McDonalds several yr back.  They said that was drug related too.

i didnt think she was shot, i thought she was stabbed to death. Either way, what the heck has been done about these?  Nothing absolutely nothing!!!

Jewels-this is just a guess, cause my memories of those incidents is hazy, though I recall stabbing too,but I'd guess that  those that were responsible in the cases denied everything as they were leaving town and those who knew what happened"didn't want to get involved".Add to that the likelihood  that those questioned lied to cover their own butts-what can one really expect to happen? Most murderers don't just confess even when questioned. If all of the witnesses were under the influence and or lying,it would be really hard to ever prove anything. It kinda goes with the territory. Some situations lend themselves to unprosecutable homicides.Being involved with drugs is one of those situations.
