Firestorm 2007 photos
Here is a bit of what has been happening here in San Diego. Over 1000 homes have been destroyed and over 300K have been evacuated. Please pray!

Jewels hey girl been watching the fires all day on the boob tube and thinking of you. The stuff they show on TV is pretty wild. I can only imagine what it really looks like in person. you be careful Julie and remember that you are loved. Olivia sends her love to.

Jewels, I am so sorry for all that have been caught in this terrible disaster. You bet you and yours are in our thoughts and prayers along with the people fighting these fires. May God bless you all.

My brother, sis-in-law, and their just over a week old baby girl Kallie have been evacuated from their home in Escondido. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, along with all the other victims of these fires.Edit: I just found out that they weren't officially evacuated yet, but the smoke was so bad they had to leave. They don't think that there house is in danger yet, thank God. posted by

I just find it mind-numbingly awful. All of those people and their homes. All of the wildlife. All of the beauty. My thoughts are with you and yours, Jewels.
