Lots of the real lynch mobs got the right guy, too. Are you OK with lynching guilty people? You don't think that lynching is ugly only because they sometimes get the wrong guy, do you? posted by

He'll actually serve 12 years, with good behavior. To the obvious disappointment to a man as desiring of a lynch mob as gube. Ever been in a serious fight, gube? (The bloody nose you gave or got in 8th grade doesn't count). You sure dish out the rhetorical violence.

PD violence is what got slick into this predicament........What difference does it make if I have been in a fight or not. This was more then a fight.....Who takes a gun to a fight? So you think old slick will only serve 12 years on good behavior lol Slick is a big old boy and you don't thing the white boys aren't going to recruit him to be a solider......Slick will be tatted down with in a year.....White Pride on each of his arms.... and Tehachapi across his belly.......no he'll do a lot more then 12 years....... Believe me the next time you see old slick he will be a bigger thug then he is now................ posted by

The next time I see the fellow you so familarily call "Slick", will be the first time, so I defer to your greater knowledge of the man for the accuracy of your predictions. The point of asking for your fight history, (I take it the answer was "no") was because your constant "go get 'em, hang 'em high, don't take no crap" rhetorical repetition, reveals, I suspect, a spectator mentality disconnected from realities - a kind of voyourism that takes pleasure in the sorrow of others. It is probably a careless compensating habit. On the other hand, were you one who enjoys infliciting and receiving physical pain and seeks it out for recreation, I would not attribute your attitude to that spectator mentality. That's the difference....

Well "lynch mob" was not referring to the actual lynching...I was stating that those of us who voiced our opinion about "not so slick" were referred to as a "lynch mob". So be it. He was guilty until proven guilty!! posted by

What I can't believe is that Logan (aka "the boyfriend" per the Californ-yun) got off scott free, as well as the "unidentified female" who drove Michelle to Walgreens. Even if there was no intent to kill anybody (But yer honor, I just slap people around with my loaded firearm!), the fact that their struggle resulted in the gunshot, and then they only made a delayed and half-hearted attempt to get her medical treatment - instead of calling 911 right away - should count for some kind of charge against the others who admitted being involved! I could see if Logan made a plea deal (I'm not advocating, but I can see why they'd offer one), but he didn't even ID Rosenberg.!And yet he concedes they struggled and the gun went off. Huh!?! Gee yet honor, it must have been a stray bullet... And I'm sorry, but when I read they fought over "laptops," I have to ask if that's the new slang for "drugs." posted by

Sooshisoo-As I recall-it was stolen or allegedly stolen laptops, not drugs.I'm assuming that we haven't been told the whole story on Logan. Not that we need to by the way. posted by

Logan wouldn't identify Rosenburg as the man who shot his girlfriend. Now there's true love for you. I hope that betrayal of his woman got him the stand-up cred he wanted from his prison buddies. A bigger loser than Rosenburg, who basically testified against himself, I'd say. But contrary to what some seem to think, I won't be starting a FREE SLICK movement. Boy - speak out for assumption of innocence, due process, throw in some sympathy for the man's family and look what it gets you called around here!
