HOW DOES THIS WORK???
So i saw my Valentines Day Contest article was posted on line....So I told my son to go out and get this weeks paper there was a surprise in it for him. He went and bought the paper that is printed and the article I wrote was no where to be found. I am really disappointed and I assumed that the newspaper put in print what they do on this website. Am I wrong?

Hi Jewels,Not all items that appear on the web site are published in the print edition. The main reason for this is space. The web site has an unlimited amount of space that we, and you in the community, can use to post all of the items that appear here. The print edition, however, does have space limitations. In the case of the Valentine's Day contest entries, a few were published in the newspaper, but all items we received that were in keeping with our publication were included on the web site. I am sorry you are disappointed, but please be aware the Tehachapi News web site is seen by over 35,000 individuals each month, so your tribute to your son will certainly be seen by many. posted by

No they don't put everything they put online in print. Most of what is online is from bloggers, they couldn't possibly put all the articles and blogs we post or that they post for us in print. Have him look at Tehachapi News Online

Well the article I blogged, I submitted to the paper. It's ok. The only problem is my son does not have internet access or a computer. I will get him the article and let him read it. Thanks for the feedback.

Jewels is your son still working at Kohen's Bakery? I can print your story and all the wonderful comments people gave on your blog and give it to him. Does Kohen's have wireless? If so, we can take our lappies down to the bakery and show him.

I dont know what they have as far as internet. But yes he still works there. He works from 3 am to 10 am, baking in the back. He's not the sandwich guy anymore. His name, as you know, is Chris. Thank you so much Sparks, YOU ROCK!!!
