Colitas, It is a real shame but it is part of the overall problem facing our nation. But, all these activities Jim cites have been going on for thousands of years and Christianity has thrived, even avowing the mistakes and sins in our history. What is more difficult is to examine ourselves to see whether we are doing what is right in our daily lives. That is a question Jim is avoiding for his own purposes especially considering the problems we face are far larger than his short list.

I'm amazed ya all are still going here. You are obviously dealing with a control freak and unless you say exactly what he wants you to (in this case that anyone who is not Christian or gay is ruining Christianity) you are only fueling his self importance. Anytime he "claims" you are not addressing the issue or that you "won't" answer a question** this fuels his beliefs that he is right and you all are wrong. Jim, sadly I have to agree (as a Christian myself) that Christians are a big part of those destroying Christianity. I actually don't think Christianity is being destroyed, but I think Christians are losing their way and in doing so are also turning people away from Christianity. People who hate are not representing Christianity as they should be. That kind of behavior is hypercritical and is like the pro-lifer that bombs abortion clinics. You see in order to really answer your question I need one answered from you......What is Christianity to you?
