Well people, I guess you had to be there to understand my drawing. (lol)   I have had that drawing for a year and no one has ever mentioned to me that it looks like a hunter just killed a bear.    I guess it is in the eyes of the beholder.

Although, It was fabulous seeing a bear roll around in the snow...it's a sight I will never forget.  It was AWESOME!!!   A bear having fun in the snow is what I meant the drawing to be.

.....and indeed... Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to everyone!!!

I also thought perhaps that was a hunter (based on the position of the bear) and perhaps he was taking a whizz..................but I suppose it is all in the eye of the beholder.

Starbucks you edited your post before I could finish my response to you.    I don't know if you remember this or not but the no child left behind org.. came to Tehachapi schools and some conservatives on this very blog and in our community were upset because they didn't want the org talking about gays or other things that they didn't approve of.   These conservatives didn't want the schools teaching their kids about different life styles or racial bigotry..  They said they wanted to teach their kids this kind of stuff at home.  They said school should ONLY be focused on educating children.   Little did most know that it was BUSH who came up with the No Child Left Behind idea.    Is there a double standard here????

I don't mind saying Merry Christmas to you if I know that you are a Christian...if I don't know what your beliefs are I will say Happy Holidays out of respect for all religions/beliefs.   It's not a big deal to me... (smile)

Sparks, what were you trying to say with your gif that you posted first? is it a hunter killing a bear?, or what?, what does that have to do with Christmas?, and you dont have to defend your right to be an atheist, be what ever you want, and if people dont want their kids participating in Christmas programs in school,then they dont have to, but banning them is not the answer.Sparks, this should be a forum for people to share different views, if they dont share your view, dont take it personal, Cmon, I think your pretty smart, if I counter your point, its just to show there are two points of view out there, different strokes for different folks, right?,
