COST OF IRAQ WAR!
In 2006, the United States was reported spending nearly $10 billion a month to sustain the military in Iraq and Afghanistan, up from $8.2 billion a year earlier.
That's with a Capital "B", people! OUR tax dollars. This is enough money to feed, clothe, house, educate and give free health care to every citizen of the United States! Jim Richards

That figure is actually really good, considering the entire US Military budget for 2006 was $447.4 Billion or $37.28 Billion per month. Also consider the 2006 budget for unemployment, welfare and medicaid was $973.6 Billion or $81.13 Billion per month. Considering the estimated US population at 300,000 (per us Census Bureau) that is $3245.33 per year for every man, woman and child in this country. Where's the real problem?
