Guess it really is about the coffee
I heard that the bikini baristas didn't save the world and Java Mama's has been sold to new owners. Anyone know more?

I made the statement based on the fact that the previous owner put the gals in bikini tops to make more money. The fact that they've sold it already shows that it didn't make the money they wanted it to. Simple math, not a bias. I had no objection to the tactic, and I don't care that it didn't work, except they don't sell the yummy cinnamon rolls anymore. posted by

Hello readers, I am the new owner of COMMON GROUND. We are making changes that we hope you'll enjoy. We don't need bikini-clad women to sell coffee. It is our goal to make the best coffee in town...period. Born and raised in Tehachapi, I would appreciate your support and of course your comments so that you make us your first stop in the morning. posted by

Hello again. I am sorry to say that the Cinnamon rolls are no longer going to be served because of the difficulty keeping them in stock and keeping them fresh, however we are now serving a hot smoked sausage and a Cheddar filled sausage wrapped in a warm bun, with the choice of mustard, ketchup, relish, onion's, or mayo, and i do say that they are tasty. Our hours right now are 5:30 am to 4:00 pm Mon through Fri. and sat 7:00 am-12:00 pm. until the new sign's are done followed by the grand opening. Also we do serve hot chocolate, tea, coffee, (hot, blended, or iced), and a great new Vanilla and french roast house coffee...
