Weekend Activities

Just to let you all know, this weekend there is a lot of things to do here in Tehachapi. The two biggest are the Spring Fair and the Chili Cook off. The Chili Cook off is on Saturday on Green st. and I believe it is going to be a blast. At City/Central Park, the Spring fair will be going on both Saturday and Sunday. I was told that this year there are going to be around 80 vendors! I wish that I could cook at both of these fine events. I chose to do the Spring Fair again this year as I really like doing events in the park. So if you need your Indian Taco fix, come and see me. Just a little info though; I will not we serving any fresh tomatoes on my tacos due to the risk of bad tomatoes. I understand that tomatoes from Ca. are suppose to be fine but, I will not take that chance. I will come up with something else to top my Indian Tacos. I do hope you all come to both events. It should be fun! Oh yeah! I just remembered. Tehachapi is having their first Renaissance Faire on the 21 and 22 of this month. I will be selling tickets for the Royal Banquet at my booth in the park at the Spring Fair this weekend. Hope to see you!

Gee, I thought it was the Chile Cook Off this weekend!  I would love to come but I'm in Sedona AZ right now!  I picked the wrong weekend to be gone!

I'm hoping to find your booth- I'm terribly curious about Indian tacos!  But I always get so lost at the big events that I just end up eating at whatever booth is closest :)

The Spring Faire starts at 10:00am and goes till 5:00pm on sat. and 10-4 on sun. I will be at Central/City Park over by the playground. I have a big red booth so it is easy to find. there will be 3 food booths at the park. Madkow, come bye and let me know that it is you and I will hook you up. See you then!

Thanks for the fantastic taco, Matokanji!  Even my son was grubbing on it :)  And it was lovely to meet you in person!

Thanks for posting this! I had no idea about the spring fair until I saw this. My husband and I took a strolll down, bought a few books, had a great time just being out and enjoying the day!
