I've seen this video before. lol So this is what we are trying so hard to desperately attain, huh? Boy, am I wasting my time. I looked into modeling years ago. The industry has no sense of reality and I was to happy with my self esteem at the time to just throw it all away. It's actually funny looking back on it now. I have no idea what I was thinking.......I hate taking pictures. lol posted by

I've seen it several times and each time it disgusts me a little more. I know they do this to magazines, billboards and photos of all kinds, because I also work in the graphic arts sector, but how many people don't know the reality of this? And worse yet, how many little girls or young women seeing these photos don't understand that what they're seeing simply isn't real? That no one is that perfect? It's so scary!

It can work the other way too. I have seen the media make some people look bad when they are mad at them. The best thing to do is show your children the above picture and ask them which picture is the real one?. lolGreat example. My avatar is a character from Second Life and of course, me being human and liking to look at pretty things, I made her with looks and proportions I could never possibly have in real life. The only difference is... my avatar began as pixels and remains as pixels. posted by

I feel so bad about morphing your avatar now that I know you created her from scratch, I'm thinking I should take it down. Do you want me to? Maybe it's the respect some us digital artists seem to have for one another. Anyway, this is my first original drawing in photoshop before they came out with the fire filter. Although drawing the woman was much harder than smudging some fire around. I actually drew this for a religious group. I can't remember why but they wanted a woman hanging on barbed wire instead.. so I had to trash this one. It's yours to do with what you want.... take her off the cross for all I care. Whew!!! I feel better now, how about you? lol posted by

Sparks - I so don't care what you do with my avatar, or any of my other stuff for that matter. It's funny to me! You could have made her into a man for all I care. And she isn't exactly from scratch. Just pieced together with some layers over the top to make her a little prettier. Nice artwork - wth religious group wanted that? lol
