Local Ambulance Coverage Has Not Been Addressed

Tonight on the Local News there will be a story about the lack of Ambulance coverage in Kern mountain communities.  Our community has and is continuing to grow.  With the addition of a perminate Stallion Springs’ station and extra firefighters for Bear Valley and Stallion Springs the fire emergency services are recognizing the need to expand and protect a growing population.  It is time that we all recognize that no matter what justification Hall Ambulance makes 20 minutes to Bear Valley and Stallion is simply not acceptable.  I encourage everyone to call Kern County Supervisor Mayben or local news agencies with any story about your long wait for an ambulance.

The Tehachapi Fire department was more of a money issue to me... it would have wasted tax payers dollars and some people are already struggling to get by in Tehachapi.  An important issue indeed, BUT this issue was strictly a safety and life saving issue to me...  You bloggers who worked so hard to get your message across have most likely saved many future lives.  This is more wonderful than words can describe.  I'm so proud of you bloggers.   Keep up the good work.    You guys ROCK!!!
