After reading the recent articles on the upcoming Tehachapi city council election I have been left with three burning questions.....

(1) Doesn't someone have to actually reside in Tehachapi to run for city council.  Henry is a really great guy but BVS just isn't Tehachapi.

(2) What's the message when the "Meet the Candidate" forum is held a half hour from town at Stallion Springs instead of utilizing someplace within the city.

(3) Do people from Bear Valley, Stallion Springs, Alpine Forest and the other parasite communities get to vote in the city election? I live outside the city but every time I go to vote I get handed the city election ballot along with the others. When I return it, telling the workers I'm not a city resident they just shrug and say vote if you want to.
