Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Me too...but I can't afford to feed one. Storilori sent me this link a few days ago...how people can say animals don't have souls or don't remember are beyond me.

I saw a tv program years ago about a man who'd had an elephant that he had to give up. 25 years later he was able to visit the reserve where she was living. He gave his special whistle, and out of a herd of elephants she came tearing up to the fence and grabbed him, hugging him with her trunk, I swear she was crying. I know I was...

Animals most definitely have souls and their love is unconditional.  Thank God, in this particular scenario/video, the humans did the right thing, setting their furry friend free, to hopefully enjoy his local surroundings, for the rest of his life.  Great story, great reunion, all the way around.

Yeah, I still cried. Art had to finish reading the Elephant story, I was choked up. Joty, I wonder why they didn't mention, Christian was head of his pack, & also brought his Mrs. to meet them, OOh, it's nice to see that.

I showed this to my girls also...I cried again over it and so did they.  The story is amazing.
