What an interesting tree!  I like how its trunk twists.  The pictures are beautiful!

Thanks...I'm not very good with the camera yet...but how can you go wrong with nature's beauty!

Madkow...According to the daughter of the people who built this house (1925) Mrs. Martinez (daughter's Mom) took two small almond saplings and slowly, over a period of a couple years, twisted them around a small metal dowel.  What patience!  The tree is somewhere between 75-80 years old.  It's truly a piece of art!  You can't miss it coming down East F St., it's the belle of the ball in the spring.

Beautiful photos- spring is so refreshing!    Anything to do with nature is beautiiful and interesting.   Do I see gourds and do you decorate them?
