Iraq Involvement Poem
high cost for elimination of weapons of mass destruction out of control DOD reconstruction almost lost Iraqi oil production
we’ll never stop the insurgency even with the latest surgency even considering the urgency to end this stupid emergency
how many soldiers will be killed their young lives suddenly ended or hopelessly severely wounded our leaders completely self-willed
the world viewed our image all through this asinine scrimmage as though we pay homage to some strange pile of garbage
what about a new paradigm leading to simple peacetime diplomacy instead of wartime not continued war crime
let’s throw all the bastards out sure a new president without old baggage could no doubt lead us without a cop-out
let’s bring home those GI’s get our politicians to advise an end to our UN allies end this is what I visualize 1 comments from 1 users

I love this poem, it shares many concerns I have about the war. I just hope my brother who is over there for his second tour does not become a memeber of the third stanza
