While driving for the umpteenth time along Highline Rd. today, it occurred to me that if drivers were required to turn on their headlights during daylight hours, it might improve the safety factor by making people more visible to oncoming traffic. There are mandatory Daylight Headlight zones along other two-lane roads that have been deemed 'dangerous' roads... why not Highline Rd.? Why not Hwy 202 from Tehachapi Woodford all the way to the prison? Who do we have to petition to get the idea considered?
