I can't believe none of you have ever had an April Fool's day joke played on you or played by you on someone else... come on, now.  Share your stories and give us a good laugh!  

 Well I think I have the best April Fool's Day joke EVER! :)

I was told when I was pregnant with my youngest son that the chances of him having Trisomy 18 (a deadly chromosome disorder) were extremely high. I was told that at the very least he'd be mentally retarded, possibly have a cleft palate, and that he had club feet.  He was born perfect on April 1, 2005!  Needless to say I'll never forget that April Fool's! Happy Birthday Noah!!

Back in the day when we had mouse balls...those balls on the bottom of our computer mouses, as opposed to infrared, I went into our company's IT department after hours on the 31st and taped small sticky notes over the balls with the words "APRIL FOOLS" on them for our three outstanding computer gurus.

The next morning, one of the guys figured it out immediately, or so he said, but I found the other two cussin' and having fits trying to make their mouses work.  ;-))  Needless to say I had to beg for favors that day until I supplemented them with pizza!

This doesn't compare with countygirl, but the whole office got a laugh out of it and it made for a fun day.

Wow, this is a hard one.  I come from a family of practical jokesters.  I did the common one of telling my best friend I was pregnant.  I started it a month early saying I didn't start my period.  I called her and said I need to go to lunch with her it was urgent.  I even went so far to put hair spray in my eyes to irritate them so looked like I had been crying for awhile.  We went to Village Grill, bad move.  We were sitting there and I was producing an Oscar winning performance when my Grandfather walked in.  It actually couldn't have been more perfect but it scared the crap out of me at first.  Well I used it to my advantage, we hid and he never saw us.  But my friend was so awesome and then she started to cry also and I could continue.  When I told her April Fools she actually didn't believe me at first.  Then she hit me!!   But as Karma has it, I was sitting down with her a year later telling her I was actually pregnant.  But that ended up being a blessing in disguise.  My son being born saved my life.  A lot has been going on in my life the past couple of few weeks, so it didn't even register that it was April Fools.  Maybe I'll try a quick little one.  I do like the ones where I need prepare though.  Maybe I'll pick up a couple of lottery tickets and slip in a fake one and have my husband scratch them off.  I have a stash of fake lottery tickets!!  Oh and:

 I'll echo a "Happy 3 years old Birthday!' to Noah, also.   With those scary predictions during pregnancy, it must have been awesome to see him for the first time and know that he was perfectly fine!!   Wow.. great story!   Thanks to the other April Fool jokesters for sharing their fun, also..  I had to laugh at Colitas' description of spraying her eyes with hair spray to make it look like she had been crying!!!   LOL    Now that's getting into the spirit of the joke, big time!!    And teresr's 'mouse balls'  prank.. what a hoot!    Thanks for the laughs, guys!!
