wow, I guess I should have read all the posts before I posted my results.  It got pretty heated!!  My computer blew up on me in  March, literally---smoke coming out and everything, so I am a little behind.  Again, this test isn't scientific, it is entertainment.   And I too am very surprised by my placement.  I knew I was a little "wishy, washy" in some of my views, but I thought I was a little more to the right...lol.  For instance, "an eye for an eye, etc", I agree but not literally.  If my neighbor purposely killed my child, I shouldn't kill their child, but they should receive the highest punishment for "their" own actions by our Laws.  So what does this make me...left or right?

Since so many people here love to argue politics on these blogs, I thought it would be fun to see where everyone stands politically.  There is a quick little test here:

that asks a bunch of questions and tells you where you are on the political spectrum.  It also shows you how you compare to some famous political figures.

My results were:

Economic Left/Right: -0.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.46

Which would seem to put me almost smack dab on the middle of the chart with slight libertarian leanings.

Christine... Are ya bossy?  lol   I had no idea what an Authoritarian meant so I looked it up for ya on wikipedia:

Authoritarianism describes a form of social control characterized by strict obedience to the authority of a state or organization, often maintaining and enforcing control through the use of oppressive measures. Authoritarian regimes are strongly hierarchical.
