Inspiring quotes or sayings.
Good Morning, everyone! Sometimes a good quote or saying really surmises the moment. Do any of you have a favorite, that gave you that little push, that you'd like to share? Here's one of my many fav's. All I really need to know I learned in kindergarten. "Share everything. Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours.Say your sorry when you hurt someone.P lay fair. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush!Don't hit people. Warm cookies & milk are good for you. Put things back where you found them. Live a balanced life - learn some & think some & draw & paint & sing & dance & play & work some. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands,& stick together.Be aware of wonder. Remember the little seed in the cup:The roots go down,& the plant goes up & nobody really knows why, but we are all like that. Goldfish & hamsters & white mice -they all die. So do we.And then remember the Dick & Jane books& the first word you learned-the biggest word of all-LOOK. Any one of these items you can extrapolate into sophisticated adult terms & apply it to your life.Think what a world it would be if we all-- the whole world-- had cookies & milk around 3 'o'clock & then layed down w/ our bankies for a nap. No matter how old you are, when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands & stick together!author, Robert Fulghum Happy Sunday.

A word was invented to define "mistake", however it was a "mistake" to invent such a word. You see if there were no "mistakes" to be reckoned with we would live in a flawless society. To live in a flawless society would be a huge "mistake". posted by

Fate, is an excuse for why we end up where we do! Our 'Actions' predetermine our Destiny, our 'Reactions' seal that fate! - Carl Stoynoff

Colitas, I noticed you used a question mark after "gift" instead of an exclamation. Are you stating your opinion or did you not know the original quote is with an exclamation? posted by

Job, by the way I forgot that I got that from you until you posted. My mom just past recently and we used that quote. If I remember correctly it was from you late wife's memorial stone. See this blog carries on good things as well. posted by

Colitas, I'm sorry for you loss. And thanks, I'd like to think my late wife is smiling in heaven knowing she left words worth repeating. I'm sure God is. posted by
