Well... we won't say who SAID they were going to show up and DIDN'T!!! I finally made it just after 8, but the open mic night was in full swing and there wasn't much talking going on, bummer. But it sure was great to meet those people that I did, Sparks, BigDog, Olivia, Eek, Awsmom, Joty, Oohchild, Reffup (did I leave anyone out???). I think I just missed Job and Madcow, sorry guys. Lori, I guess I missed you too. Sparks mentioned maybe trying the big room at Kelcy's next time so we can yak and not be intrusive. posted by

Countygirl, why didn't you go? Time was too short, you can imagine. Since I'm a relatively new blogger, lets see if part of "The Fab 5" will blog their version, it was cool. Mellow drama, drool, drool. posted by

LOL! I already had made a decision not to go(at least to the 1st one) , but I wouldn't have been able to go even if I had planned on it. One of my little guys got really sun burnt yesterday and has been extremely uncomfortable all day. Mommy has had to put aloe on him several times today. :( Spam code: YXDUI posted by

It definitely was a good time. Too bad we couldn't get a good conversation going after open mic started. Awsmom, Joty, bigdog and I went outside and had a good conversation after everyone had left. We got so loud out front that they even came outside and asked us if we could quiet down. It was definitely good to see faces with the names. I can't wait for the next one. I feel like we have a "blogger family"...Instigators and opinions...what's the big deal? As fast as we can get heated, we can cool down. It's great. Sparks....you are a tiny little firecracker!!!! posted by

Watch out Sparks ,firecrackers are illegal. They asked us to be quiet out back too. We're such an antagonistic group,.... posted by

Hey Randy.... good to see you here. Your poetry rocks big guy! Randy be sure and tell Hillary that we are sorry for being so loud....we went there to talk to each other ...not knowing that mic night was about more than just loud music... again I apologize, but we all loved Mama Hilly Beans and when we go back individually...we WILL be quieter. Holly Hart gave us a very warm welcome and suggested that maybe we could make a time to meet at Hilly Beans for just us bloggers...which is a wonderful idea. She mentioned how wonderful it was that liberals and conservatives got along so well...and we did. We talk to, laughed and hugged everyone. Holly was a great host....thank you Holly. Does anyone know if Job made it home last night? He said he was leaving at 8;pm but he was having so much fun he was still there when I left .so I am a bit worried about him. Eek is very quiet...so I just hugged her every chance I got. Madkow is shy so I had to embarrass her by making her stand up to speak to the crowd...what a cute little boy she has and her hubby is a real nice guy. Reffup loves talking politics and is very nice as well. Bigdog is as cuddly as a bear...OMG I bet everyone just loves to hug Bigdog... I know I did a couple of times. Olivia spoke at the mic and told a wonderful and heartfelt story of her childhood and got a big round of applause. Oochild may have a sore arm today because I had a tendency to hit her on the arm to get her attention. Awsmom is just the sweetest person, I really enjoyed talking to her. Joty is just an all around nice person and Storilori is so cute...she had a few of the guys turning their heads...she brought a camera, but I don't think she knows how to upload pictures.. lol Greg had to help me turn my bright lights to my new truck off because I didn't know how...as most already knows from his posts, he is a real sweetheart it was good to finally get to hug him as well. Lots of fun and lots of hugs... a good night all around. I had a great time last night it was a blast to meet you all. Yes, I am who I say I am a hyper, short, curly haired gal that just loved you all.. Thanks for the great time everyone....We have to do this again sometime Gube ...you suck... lol Countygirl, you should have came... you would have loved it, and I would have bought you your first cup of java. Sparks, I knew I could count on you to give an accurate occurrence. Anyone who has any doubt about Sparks' comments, well she pretty much hit the nail on the head. Sparks you could of left out the head turning part, ( on the d-low, whose head ) ez, just joshin. It's not that I don't know how to down load pics. I think I need a separate thingy, or something for my computer, don't I ? Yeah Sparks, no clue what to do w/ the pics, w/out Walgreen's. Yes Holly Hart was a good Hostess, I couldn't remember her name. She was pretty shocked that " The T.N. Bloggers " were not hiding behind their pen names, & showing themselves, I didn't know that was even a thought out there. Maybe I remember something about it, a while back. She was cute & entertaining, Most of all she was so surprised to see us, which we loved. There was so much going on. Eek's voice is so precious, she sounds like a 3yr. old, she must get anything she wants, w/ that voice. posted by

I got home around 9:30 and hubby says, "a coupla hours, huh?" lol. I loved meeting all of you. Sparks and I are already old pals - both literally and figuratively ha ha - but meeting face-to-face with the rest of my blogging friends was awesome. I spend way too much time by myself up here, getting out was great. Randy, it was great meeting you too, hope you stick around on the blogs as well. I wish I had the guts to get up and read some of my work in front of people... The only one who really surprised me was Fatcow...uh, I mean madkow. Not at all what I pictured a truck drivin' gal to look like! Very pretty and very shy. And her little guy is a sweetheart. I'm already looking forward to the next one!

Yea we definitely have to have another one. I had a blast. Sparks you are a ball of motion and energy. I had a great time. My dad was a truck driver, and I went out with him every summer for a couple of weeks, I never saw any truckdrivers that looked like Madkow. posted by

LMAO at Lori.....Yes sometimes I do.....LOL It helps when a bill collector calls or a telemarketer, they ask to speak to my Mommy and I just tell them that she is the shower with the neighbor man, my voice has its advantages....lol |
