No Brainers... Tip's for the Day.

On a whim, I started to clean out the refrigerator, ( from the bottom), not so smart. I have now learned that next time, to start from the TOP!

We are also redesigning our backyard, just a couple of homeowners trying to make their yard more aesthetically pleasing.  So, does any body have any, "no brainers," they want to share, on any subject. To save some of us the misery of learning ourselves?

A good no-brainer: don't forget to water your plants once you plant them...  We wasted a few hours planting flowers, knowing we had to remember to water them because they were in a place the sprinklers didn't reach.  Of course, now they're dead and ugly :(

We're planning to put in some drought-tolerant plants someday.

Yep madcow, that'll do just fine, definitely...a no brain-er.

When you turn on a faucet and discover that the water is off, don't forget to turn the faucet back OFF!!!  A neighbor in an apartment building one time did that, and I came home to a flooded apartment because the water came back on and she had left her faucet on next door, and then left for work!

Lori, that is an absolutley beautiful flower picture, did you take that?  Do you know what it is?

Oh GregL, I was hoping to fly under the radar w/ this one. I'm still learning how to manipulate this whole profile etc. thing, so the pics. I put up, maybe aren't intentional, although this one was. No, I didn't take it, I'm just impressed I got it on here. It's a sample pic. from photo shop, sorry. BTW, when your on, edit profile, when you have a pic, & it says " make default" what is that? Isn't there an explanation on how to set this all up. I guess it's common knowledge for the regular computer user?

Lori, the pictures that say 'make default' are not currently the default picture for your profile.  There should be one picture that says 'default', that is the one that will show up as your profile pic.  If you wnat another picture to be your profile pic, click 'make default'.

Automate, automate, and automate. I’ve been automating everything I possibly can over the years. Watering the lawn and plants are on automatic timer using sprinklers and drip system. All my bills are paid automatically. I hired my neighbor kid to mow my lawn and trim shrubs. Now if could teach Oreo to flush after he poops. And one other thing, when I return from vacation, I'm going to hire a house keeper.
