What's on your menu Tehachapi?
I like the meat and potatoes stuff, but what really whets my appetite is variety. The more exotic the more palatable.

Okay, so it's only an hour, but is anybody else dreading losing an hour from their life this weekend? Switching back and forth from daylight savings time just bugs me. Anybody else? Have you ever shown up late/early due to the time change?
I once walked into church an hour late which wasn't so bad but the time I made it to work a whole hour early went completely unoticed and unappreciated!
"Springing ahead" towards the weekend, I'm already bummed it's going to be one hour shorter! I guess I'll have to leave work a bit early to make up for it.

Okay, be honest, if you're not already going to city council and other local govt. meetings are you going to sit at home and watch them if they are broadcast on TV? If so, how many of those concerned citizens actually get the govt. channel - whatever it is ? I don't.

Assuming that civic minded individuals just can't wait to watch local govt. in action from the comfort of  their couches (instead of watching American Idol)  will TIVO'd meetings and coffee clatches replace the blogs to debate and discuss what happened at these meetings?

Has anybody asked how much this kind of broadcast or taping would cost the city? How much are you wiling to pay for this "public service?"

Assuming you want these meetings taped, because you can't attend - but really wish you (and the huddled masses) could - how do you find out about what happens at these meetings now?   I honestly want to know what others think about this topic.
