We are looking for second vehicle that was hit by the blasting rocks from the CalTrans snowplow on 3/16 at about 7:25am. The snowplow was blasting red rocks for deicing and neglected to turn it off as he rounded the corner, blasting the side of our suburban and a full-size van behind us at the stop sign going from Banducci (from Alpine/Stallion) to Highline (going west). This did some serious damage to our truck, and I'm sure it did to the van, too. The driver looked right at us with an "Oh @#$%" look on his face, but took off up Banducci (towards Alpine/Stallion). We could not catch him. Upon inspection, our truck needs a new paint job (insurance has already taken care of the initial process) and the body shop people say we are lucky we weren't in a regular car, because the spray will blast out the windows of a regular car. (We were higher in the Suburban, and we assume that you were higher in the van, too.)
