What do you think about all of the controversial statements made by Rosie on her show? Many of her statements have not been factual and to make these statements without being able to back them up is wrong. ABC television needs to hold her accountable and they need to be accountable for the false statements she is making.
She believes that the explosion at the World Trade Center was a government conspiracy to justify our invasion of Iraq. She states she has the facts that proves that the WTC wouldn't  collapse with just the planes hitting it. She believes that bombs were planted by Government agents. She has called Tom DeLay a criminal even though he hasn't been found guilty of any crime. She says Bill O'Reilly has made racial statements on his show. She just goes on and on and is getting worse.
Personally I am going to contact ABC and let them know what I think.

I'm not a huge Rosie fan, but there is the Free Speech.  If you don't like don't watch it.  Just like Imus.  In my opinion just because one network fired someone doesn't mean all the other networks need to also.  Rosie is not a Journalist, but an entertainer.  And she said Tower 7 not both.  I hadn't heard any conspiracies  about our Government doing it, but I did hear one long time ago about the Pope being involve and of course aliens.  I think many people have called somebody a criminal or guilty before being found guilty.  And last, Bill O'Reilly has made racial and crude comments before, but again I don't listen when people start talking ignorant.  And of course it is your right to contact ABC, because we are in America.

I wouldn't believe Rosie any farther than I could throw her!  I got a real laugh hearing that she is now talking about the WTC conspiracies etc., what a joke!  In any case, what I do find disturbing is that this type of 'entertainment' is so popular.  There are plenty of other examples, like Imus, Howard Stern, and the list goes on.  Yes there is Free Speech, and I suppose legally these people are doing nothing wrong.  But that fact that so many people watch and listen to these folks is pretty amazing.  If someone really stopped for a moment and asked themselves while watching Rosie or any of the others, 'Am I really benefiting from watching/listening to this?', my guess is that real answer is 'No.'

Wake up people!  Do some research.  Sure Rosie isn't an expert but she is quoting the experts and they are popping up everywhere like dandilions.  Physicist Stephen Jones is one example.   He has done many experiments proving that thermite was used in the buildings.  Set aside time to watch the online documentaries that are out there.  "Terrorstorm", "Loose-Change", "911-mysteries" are all good.  If you like to read "The New Pearl Harbor" by "David R. Griffin" is good.  The people in the Truth Movement aren't all a bunch of tinfoil hat wearing kooks.  Many professors, survivors and government officials are questioning the official conspiracy theory.  You can find a list here: http://patriotsquestion911....  Ask yourself this:  Why would so many credible people beleive such a ridiculous thing?  The answer is maybe it isn't so ridiculous or maybe the official explanation is.  Go outside the mainstream media and see what the rest of the world already knows.  911 was either pulled off by a few very evil people within our own government or by the very least, they knew.

Oh Good Lord, it's a Loose-Changer! Quick, grab the net!  ;)

There's so much evidence that debunks the whole 9/11 conspiracy theory that I'm sure folks here will be able to determine who's really responsible for that attack.

Anonymous, the major problem with folks like you who keep pushing this deluded hypothesis is that it fuels the crazies in the Muslim world who also want to believe the US government was involved. It takes the heat from them to take responsibility for the actions of their own. It allows them an "out" in global opinion about our country. And we need all the good will we can get from the world at this point.

Don't fall for this load of BS, people! Laugh in their faces when they talk about it; let people like Rosie & Charlie Sheen know how much this can hurt them in the pocketbook if they continue to spout this nonsense. Some Conspiracy Theories are kinda funny (like the Moon hoax), but this one is just plain dangerous.

Anonymous- Have you watched  The 9/11 Commemorative Edition? It is not a political film, but a documentary. It was filmed by two french brothers. It started out as a documentary about what a New York City firefighter experiences from the time he's hired to the end of his one year probationary period. It just so happened that 9/11 occurred a few months after they started filming. They caught it all on tape and if I am not mistaken it is they only film available that actually has footage from INSIDE the Twin Towers that day. If you watch you can see and HEAR that no bombs are going off! I highly suggest you take a look at it. It is heart wrenching, but IMO well worth it.

Popular science is a good example of yellow journalism.  Chertoff's Cousin Penned Popular Mechanics 9/11 Hit Piece.  But who is Benjamin Chertoff, the "senior researcher" at Popular Mechanics who is behind the article? American Free Press has learned that he is none other than a cousin of Michael Chertoff, the new Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Your right....  It's easier to believe that 19 muslims somehow got onto the plane, even though they are not listed as being on those planes, then hijacked them with boxcutters, (After all those ex-military pilots are pretty wimpy) and turned them around and flew them into the buildings without the aid of any ground guidance system.  Did they cause NORAD to stand down with the box cutter too?  Really!!! Who is wearing a tin-foil hat?

If you believe the official story then you are a "conspiracy theorist".  Now, of course if evil people within our government did this, they will also try and debunk all efforts to expose them.  Hence the Popular Science article.  If you don't like loose change then watch "Terrorstorm" for a history of government sponsored terrorism.  Molten metal was seen pouring out of the side of one of the towers.  There is video of this.  Heat from jet fuel can't cause this to happen.  Molten metal was found at the base of all three buildings.  This is evidence that thermite was used.  Physicist Stephen Jones explains all this.  Watch the videos of wtc7.  It collapses uniformly within its own footprint.  For this to happen, supports would need to fail simultaneously.  There is a ton of information on the internet which is our last bastion of uncensored information.

aerospace1 , why don't you research what the pilots are saying... They don't believe the official story.  See what Stephen Jones is saying.  Or do you think he is a crackpot too?  What about all the put options?  Do you have an answer for that?  Perhaps you should be on the 911 Commission, because these are important issues.  Don't attack me for asking questions.  The OFFICIAL story is inaccurate.

Sorry I didn't mean to link you in my post.  I agree we all should have the right to believe what we want.  I do not like the fact that you choose to associate this issue with others to discredit my view.  I also believe we went to the moon.  I believe the holocaust happened as well.  However, The Patriot act has been enacted because of 911 taking a lot of our liberties away.  We no-longer have the right of habeous corpus.  The government can torture our children in front of us now because of 911.   Many people are dying because of the events of 911 and possibly unjustly.

Remember what happened at Abu Graib?  Do you think that is okay?

"The compromise legislation....authorizes the president to seize American citizens as enemy combatants, even if they have never left the United States. And once thrown into military prison, they cannot expect a trial by their peers or any other of the normal protections of the Bill of Rights."  Yale law professor Bruce Ackerman.

this [subsection (ii) of the definition of 'unlawful enemy combatant'] means that if the Pentagon says you're an unlawful enemy combatant -- using whatever criteria they wish -- then as far as Congress, and U.S. law, is concerned, you are one, whether or not you have had any connection to 'hostilities' at all."  Law Professor Marty Lederman

The bill also retroactively gives Bush, and his henchmen immunity from war crimes charges dating back to September 11. . Ask yourself why they would be so careful to protect themselves from accusations of war crimes.

In case you didn't know we are in the process of building permanent military structures over there just as planned in the PNAC documents before 911.  We will never leave.  After all "that is where the prize ultimately lies."  Dick Cheney

Well, aero, a broken watch is still right twice a day! (That's a joke if anyone is humor-challenged)  ;)

bodeedoe, this Stephen Jones, is this the same guy who is involved in (discredited) research into cold fusion? Yeah, he's got a lot of credibility. *roll eyes*

bodeedoe, can you please explain "The government can torture our children in front of us now because of 911"?  I have no idea what you are talking about or what link you are drawing.

I don't expect to persuade anyone just because I say it is so.  All I ask is that you yourself look at the videos and listen to all the people on both sides before deciding it's all one big idiot brigade.  I think the "idiot brigade" conspiracy is the most damaging.  It hides the facts and prevents people from looking themselves.  You don't trust Stephen Jones?  There are other professors.  http://patriotsquestion911....

What about what the pilots say? http://www.pilotsfor911trut... (Good video on this site by the way)

You don't trust the pilots?  What about the survivors and their family members?  http://patriotsquestion911....

If you don't trust these people, then by all means please trust the people in government.  http://patriotsquestion911....

Before all freedom of speech is abolished maybe we should all be willing to listen to what others are saying.

The article does supply links to sources in the mainstream media.  I am not saying that Bush wants to torture children.  However the legislation that has been enacted because of 911 leaves this possibility open.  This is dangerous.  Don't take your liberties for granted.  The Constitution and Bill of Rights were written to prevent the possibility of these atrocities.  Now we are getting away from the Constitution.  It is not all right to torture terrorists, especially if there is no clear definition of what a terrorist is.  Torturing children I agree is the most extreme example.  But, the possibility exists.

During a December 1st debate in Chicago with Notre Dame professor and international human rights scholar Doug Cassel, John Yoo gave the green light for the scope of torture to legally include sexual torture of infants.  This exchange actually took place in congress and the actual audio is linked in the article I provided.

Cassel: If the president deems that he’s got to torture somebody, including by crushing the testicles of the person’s child, there is no law that can stop him?

Yoo: No treaty.

Cassel: Also no law by Congress — that is what you wrote in the August 2002 memo…

Yoo: I think it depends on why the President thinks he needs to do that.
