ACE to close??

Gube, maybe part of the reason is the incredibly crappy customer service they have! I've had many people tell me the same thing. We stopped shopping there ages ago, before Home Depot. We like Henry's, still do... posted by

Ace charges almost double than Henry's or Home depot... They are not a specialty shop... lol I rarely go there unless I want to get screwed. I'm sure the nice people who work there will find jobs at Home Depot, or other local stores. This news doesn't bother me at all. Hey Gube, you going to the Meet and Greet tomorrow? posted by

Ace stinks, for sure. So does the coffee at Kelcy's. But some things should be more important to us, and locally-owned business with personalities (even bad personalities) should be one of them. posted by

They brought it on themselves from high prices and poor customer service. They have tried to load crappy, twisted bowed lumber in my truck everytime I went there. When I wanted a solid core door for my garage it was $499--went to Bakersfield Home Depot and it was $159.00. I don't mind paying more to buy someting in Tehachapi but 3 times as much???? posted by
