Anyone else watching Mad Men?
I know I tend to be more of an upper cable channel watcher, but I'm hoping I'm not the only one watching Mad Men, because it's terrific.

For the record, so is Damages, if you like shows where everyone is different than they appear.

And Rescue Me is finally coming up to speed this season. I was worried for a little while.

C'mon --- anyone at all?

I'm a great fan of Damages and Rescue Me.  Also record Dexter (not sure when the new season starts - but this show is really terrific) and The Closer.  I guess I'm gonna have to do a search and find Mad Men.

And then, because our grand daughter loves the costumes and music, we record both So You Think You Can Dance? and Dancing with the Stars.  Flip through all the voting stuff and commercials     SSSSHHHH - don't tell anyone!

Couldn't agree with you more.  Mad Men is awesome, ditto for Damages, which BTW is not on tomorrow night, for whatever reason.  Mad Men takes you down memory lane and then some, with excellent writing, and is right on the money regarding how it was, way back then, especially how they portray the little woman at home, as well as how the girls (and guys) at the office were.  Thank God, some things have changed over the years.  Hope both shows stay on the air for a second season; Damages is a great mental roller coaster ride .  Good stuff, indeed!

Man Men is on cable, AMC channel, enjoy.  Another good cable channel is Lifetime; Army Wives, in particular, however, the last episode for the season was this evening and get out the Kleenex for a real tear-jerker.  The Closer is also good, on TNT, for those of you wondering what all the fuss is about and where to watch something entertaining.

I watch Rescue Me( I agree with you weebles, but I'm enjoying this season so far), but I haven't really gotten into Damages. I think I just missed to many episodes and now when I watch one I'm just lost.

I've never heard of Mad Men before.

I'm a huge fan of Army Wives as well DonMar. The season finale actually irritated me! lol Of course they're going to end it like that though! :)

Countygirl, since you have a firefighter relationship and everything, how do you think they do on Rescue Me? Because I have a firefighting connection and I think it's closer to depicting their truth than anything I've seen before.

And everyone who's peeking, you've got to check out Mad Men on AMC. It's their only show --- everything else they do is movies. There's going to be a catch-up marathon over the Labor Day weekend I think.

DonMar, you're right on --- it shows you what it was really like during the late 50s, both good and bad. And I love seeing all of the props. I remember several of them from the homes of relatives when I was growing up.
