Primary fever
It turns out that I have election fever. I have slowly de-evolved to the point where, in my off time, I am almost exclusively watching politics.
On Saturday I watched the debates on ABC. All four hours of them. Then on Sunday I sat down for the Republican forum on Fox. As a matter of fact, I think I've only missed one televised debate so far this season. I watch CNN, Fox, MSNBC and CSPAN. You'd think I had a relative in the race. It's exciting. The more you listen, the more you realize exactly how big an impact the nominee has on your life. My DH and I have already agreed on sandwiches for dinner tonight so we can watch the New Hampshire primary results. Anyone else out there have the fever? 50 comments from 13 users

The poll by Mason-Dixon Polling and Research found that 52 percent of Americans wouldn’t consider voting for Clinton, D-N.Y. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a Republican, was second in the can’t-stand-’em category, with 46 percent saying they wouldn’t consider voting for him. Clinton has long been considered a politically polarizing figure who would be a tough sell to some voters, especially many men, but also Clinton-haters of both genders. Thursday’s survey provides a snapshot of the challenges she faces, according to Larry Harris, a Mason-Dixon principal. “Hillary’s carrying a lot of baggage,” he said. “She’s the only one that has a majority who say they can’t vote for her.” Clinton rang up high negatives across the board, with 60 percent of independents, 56 percent of men, 47 percent of women and 88 percent of Republicans saying they wouldn’t consider voting for her. and Madkow, thanks for joining in, but, be careful talking against Hillary here, you see what happens, all of a sudden your are afraid of strong women, and they are Bitches in all mens eyes, and on and on,,,,oh brother, what nonsense. its about her everyone, not all women! posted by

You should be a politician SB, you sure can dance around a question. Colin and Arnold are not candidates. And I'm still waiting for the name of a politician who hasn't been touched by scandal and/or corruption. And why are you bashing just Ms. Clinton if you don't like any of the current candidates? If Obama is the nominated candidate, I will more than likely throw my support to him although he is too young and green for my tastes. But in the long run, popular vote isn't what wins the election, remember Bush vs. Gore? posted by

Ok Vader, this took me all of 10 seconds to find online, I typed in Clinton Corruption on Google, The Clintons, to adapt a line from Dr. Johnson, were not only corrupt, they were the cause of corruption in others. Yet seldom in America have so many come to excuse so much mendacity and malfeasance as during the Clinton years. Here are some of the facts that have been buried. The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance Number of individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine who have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes: 47 As of June 2000, the Justice Department listed 25 people indicted and 19 convicted because of the 1996 Clinton-Gore fundraising scandals. And on and on and on,,,,,,http://prorev.com/legacy.ht... posted by
