Primary fever
It turns out that I have election fever. I have slowly de-evolved to the point where, in my off time, I am almost exclusively watching politics.

On Saturday I watched the debates on ABC. All four hours of them.

Then on Sunday I sat down for the Republican forum on Fox.

As a matter of fact, I think I've only missed one televised debate so far this season.

I watch CNN, Fox, MSNBC and CSPAN. You'd think I had a relative in the race.

It's exciting. The more you listen, the more you realize exactly how big an impact the nominee has on your life.

My DH and I have already agreed on sandwiches for dinner tonight so we can watch the New Hampshire primary results.

Anyone else out there have the fever?

Starbucks where did you come up with half the country doesn't like Hillary. I hope it was not the same polls that said Obama was going to win NH by double digits.lol

I would like to know starbucks what type of corruption the Clintons are guilty of?  From what I understand Ken Starr spent Millions of Dollars for a number of years investigating Whitewater and the only thing he came up with was Bill lied about his innapropriate behavior with Monica Lewinsky.  Sounds like a lot of time and money was wasted.

The poll by Mason-Dixon Polling and Research found that 52 percent of Americans wouldn’t consider voting for Clinton, D-N.Y. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a Republican, was second in the can’t-stand-’em category, with 46 percent saying they wouldn’t consider voting for him.

Clinton has long been considered a politically polarizing figure who would be a tough sell to some voters, especially many men, but also Clinton-haters of both genders.

Thursday’s survey provides a snapshot of the challenges she faces, according to Larry Harris, a Mason-Dixon principal.

“Hillary’s carrying a lot of baggage,” he said. “She’s the only one that has a majority who say they can’t vote for her.”

Clinton rang up high negatives across the board, with 60 percent of independents, 56 percent of men, 47 percent of women and 88 percent of Republicans saying they wouldn’t consider voting for her.

and Madkow,  thanks for joining in, but, be careful talking against Hillary here, you see what happens, all of a sudden your are afraid of strong women, and they are Bitches in all mens eyes, and on and on,,,,oh brother, what nonsense. its about her everyone, not all women!

Starbucks I googled stop Hillary and I got stophillary.com.  I didn't find anything that was substantial in it's rhetoric.  I was looking for some concrete facts about how corrupt she is.  Oh and any website that carries the disclaimer, "We don't hate women, African Americans, or People of Color..." loses major credibilty points.

You should be a politician SB, you sure can dance around a question. Colin and Arnold are not candidates. And I'm still waiting for the name of a politician who hasn't been touched by scandal and/or corruption. And why are you bashing just Ms. Clinton if you don't like any of the current candidates?

If Obama is the nominated candidate, I will more than likely throw my support to him although he is too young and green for my tastes.

But in the long run, popular vote isn't what wins the election, remember Bush vs. Gore?

Vader would like to know "what type of corruption the Clintons are guilty of", good lord man, have you been in a cave since 1990?,

search the net Vader, there is plenty out there,,,,,,,,then again, if you are just in denial of the facts, then whats the point?

No dancing here Joty, I do not know who I will vote for, but, it will certanly not be someone who says they will raise my taxes as soon as they get elected., but, I do think Obama is a great speaker, and may be a good choice, something new, why not try it?

I'm not voting for Hillary in the primary, but I do find it funny how all of the "Experts" and "Pollsters" were writing her off after Iowa.  She's proved time and again that she's a fighter and a crafty politician.  I admire that she doesn't back down and outside of Obama, I don't see any other candidate that has her political nerve or savvy.  If she wins the Democratic nomination, I will not have a problem voting for her.

Starbucks I don't put to much faith in polls. After last nights results i think a lot of people will be questioning polls. My gut tell me that Hillary has her work cut out for her self. Its between Hillary and Obama, It will be fun to watch.

Starbucks, you haven't answered my question.  I want to know.  You tell me.  I want to see if you're educated on this matter or if you're just falling in line with anti-Clinton dogma or rhetoric.  I want to hear your voice.

Hillary has had my vote from day one. Vadar you are very funny. I loved your comebacks awhile back regarding God. Hillary did have some scandal years ago regarding a company she owned or was partners in if my very short memory is correct. Still, I believe all politicians have something in their closet. Don't we all. OK Weebles-who ya voting for??

Thank you for the compliment Gillfish.  I'm not saying Clinton is not without scandal, what politician isn't?  Starbucks is saying Clinton is "Guilty of Corruption."  That's news to me.

Ok Vader, this took me all of 10 seconds to find online, I typed in Clinton Corruption on Google,

The Clintons, to adapt a line from Dr. Johnson, were not only corrupt, they were the cause of corruption in others. Yet seldom in America have so many come to excuse so much mendacity and malfeasance as during the Clinton years. Here are some of the facts that have been buried.

The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court

Number of individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine who have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes: 47
- Number of these convictions during Clinton's presidency: 33
- Number of indictments/misdemeanor charges: 61
- Number of congressional witnesses who have pleaded the Fifth Amendment, fled the country to avoid testifying, or (in the case of foreign witnesses) refused to be interviewed: 122

As of June 2000, the Justice Department listed 25 people indicted and 19 convicted because of the 1996 Clinton-Gore fundraising scandals.
- According to the House Committee on Government Reform in September 2000, 79 House and Senate witnesses asserted the Fifth Amendment in the course of investigations into Gore's last fundraising campaign.

-
James Riady entered a plea agreement to pay an $8.5 million fine for campaign finance crimes. This was a record under campaign finance laws.

And on and on and on,,,,,,http://prorev.com/legacy.ht...

Starbucks are you serious?  That's your source? You haven't articulated in your own words what the Clintons are guilty of.  What I read there was a number facets that were a result of the Ken Starr investigation.  Come on man, I thought you were going to come at me with something substantial.  I want your voice.  Articulate a real criticism of Hillary Clinton.  Don't use "Internet" research.  Use your own voice.  I'm waiting...

By the way, Starbucks is cutting and pasting information collected over the years by an Independent Journalist Sam Smith.  I don't know what his agenda is if there is any, but much of the information is publicly know by both Clinton adversaries and supporters.  What I think of it?  It's politics as usual, and Hillary Clinton is one good politician!
