Magazine junkie...
I admit it --- I'm a magazine junkie. I love reading all kinds of magazines. Sure, I have my favorites, the ones I care so much about that I have to subscribe so I don't miss a single issue, but if all that's laying around is a copy of Popular Mechanics, I'll thumb through that, too.
Sometimes I'll purposely get in line at the grocery store behind someone with a whole bunch of stuff in their cart just so I can peruse the magazines in the racks. My current list of must-haves:

The Believer Wired McSweeney's Yep... I'm geeky, I should add a home and garden magazine to my list because I love getting my hands soiled by designing and creating new landscapes. posted by

I am a junkie, I have subscribed to Parachutist for 15 yrs and make sure I buy People and OK. I just love to see what the celebs are up to.

The MUST HAVES at our house are: 1. Rolling Stone 2. Organic Gardening 3. Funny Times I also share subscriptions to The Sun, Mother Jones, and The New Yorker. I too am not above perusing the "Grocery Store Rags", but will not put out money for them! posted by

I subscribe to The New Yorker. I love the short stories, biographies and the political commentaries. I know that it's biased but I enjoy reading it. I always learn something new and interesting.When I am at the local grocery store I am always tempted to buy a mindless magazine like People. I just can't bring myself to lower my standards and fork out the money but I'm not above reading People at the Dr. office. Yeah I can be a hypocrite.
