Donuts anyone?
If I might ask, does anyone have a personal preference to the two donuts shops in Tehachapi? I have my opinion but I would really like to hear yours.

I have not been to tea donuts in a long time so i can't comment on them. I go to the one in old town. when they opened up their donut where much bigger and better then tea donuts.

I rarely eat donuts, but I stopped into Tea Donuts...(that's the one by right aid?) to get my husband a bear claw.
The lady was very friendly and accommodating.  I've never been to the other place although I've heard that the
business hours and days are not consistent?

I've had good donuts from both, but I so rarely eat them that I can't really comment on consistency.

I definitely would say Carlos'. They are very friendly and have GREAT coffee IMO. Some of their donuts need to be cut in half due to their size and your dozen is 14 on 12 there. They also sell breakfast burritos. My husband really enjoys them. If you go in there on Sun. mornings don't expect to find much as they provide donuts for multiple churches here. Tea Donuts seem heavier to me, more greasy. If that makes sense.
