http://www.tehachapinews.com/home/Blog/Horseshoe/11155 Once again the Board of Supervisors gave Harvey Hall everything that he asked for with very little discussion.&nbsp; He got&nbsp;his monopoly written in stone with the newly confirmed Ambulance Ordinance, a rate increase and a chance to have a vote on double taxation.&nbsp; He even got a headline in my local paper stating that the average cost of an ambulance ride is $1500?&nbsp; The bills that my insurance company&nbsp;paid&nbsp;were at least double that.&nbsp; Even when they arrived too late to transport my dead husband - they billed!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; On top of all of the above in the past month,&nbsp; I had to listen to several Board members literally speak words of wonder about the magnanimous generosity of Harvey.&nbsp; The Board&nbsp;members obviously have never needed an ambulance that took over an hour to arrive.
