To be absolutely honest, a few weeks ago as I counted the cost of my recent fraudulent marriage, I realized I could have hired a prostitute one day a week for better than what I have lost to this woman who lied to me. But still I would not lower and degrade myself to do such a thing. Also that does not imply that I married just for the one reason. If that one reason was case, then why get married?

As for religious moralists as you describe, they are still human and sinners and can still make mistakes just as easy as anyone else.

Go ahead, legalize prostitution, I don't really care. Every person will still stand before God someday and give an account for their lives. And if you don't believe in God, that's not my problem.

I don't see any reason why prostitution isn't legal. Legalizing prostitution would save tax payers money ,and the police time, and perhaps even make having sex with a ho a bit more safe.

I was watching a episode of cops a while back and they were busting ''Johns''. The cops were explaining to the ''Johns that a lot of the hookers out there had AIDS or other STD's and I thought to myself, Well ya they do because the system to blame. If it was legal it could be controlled. Get the girls off the street and into brothels or whore houses where the girls would be safe. Test the working girls regularly for STD's . It would be regulated and even taxed.

The Christan right religious fanatics are to blame. If you ask me their hands are dirty for pushing prostitution onto the streets and back alley's. Prostitution is one law that creates more crime. Because it is pushed into the streets for being ''immoral'' hookers are regularly beaten and killed. Because it ''immoral'' johns are taking STD's home to their wives and girlfriends. Wake up people some men will go to prostitutes no matter what. They always have they always will.

Why is it OK to go to a bar and buy a chick a few drinks and then take her home and boink her but its not OK to go to a bar and instead of buying her the drinks just give her the money the drinks would have cost and then boink her. Its the same thing. A act between two consenting adults is non of the governments business. STUPID LAW!!!!!!!

States, I think putting a whore house on Tehachapi blvd would be a bad business decision. I don't think a whore house would make it here in Tehachapi. From what I read about whore houses in some of my westerns is that they are rarely located in the center of town or close to schools anyway. They are normally located just out of town. And whore houses are normally built in the larger cities where there is more of a public demand for whores. There wouldn't be enough customers in Tehachapi to justify building an expensive whore house. Heck, Tehachapi can't even drum up enough business for a strip club. Plus, this town is so small that a man wanting to be with a whore probably wouldn't want to go to a local whore house, well unless he parked his car a mile down the road. lol I'm sure there are plenty of whores already in Tehachapi, they are everywhere, not just big cities.. It's most likely our local Hotels/Motels will suffice in place of a whore house here in Tehachapi as they have for all these years. There simply wouldn't be enough income to have a whore house in Tehachapi. Again, bad business decision.

As for moving somewhere else....it would be much easier/cheaper for you to move to another country if the majority of Americans voted yes to legalize prostitution, wouldn't it????

However, I don't see any reason for anyone to move, because prostitution is already happening. all over America, yes even in Tehachapi.. Prostitution will exist whether it is legal or not... you do understand that don't you????

You finally did it, you made it personal. You have accused me of throwing my beliefs in your face. I don’t believe that to be true one iota. In most cases I have done nothing more than give answers to questions and correct misinformation about the Bible or God. In all other cases I have only shared what I believe to be true for me. Nowhere in my writings have I used language that could be interpreted as being forceful and in your face. If I did, then I’m sorry, I certainly did not intend to. I believe I have just as much right to talk about who I am as person as well as state what I believe as you do. Never have I said to you or anyone else that you have to believe what I believe or else. I wouldn’t do that because I don’t have the right to force my beliefs on you or anyone. If you feel threatened by my openness then there is not much I can do about that. I will always defend my faith just as much as I defended our country during my military career and just as much as any Muslim extremist who wants to kill us. Although I’m retired from the Army, I’m still committed to fight for my country and our beliefs. For that reason I continue to stay proficient in weapon use skills. Honestly Sparks, we have more in common than you realize.

Now when someone places text in quotes it is a statement of truth that was said. I just rechecked all my statements and nowhere did I make the statements you have quoted. It appears you may be reading far more into my statements than what I said. I could only venture to guess the reasons you would do that. I have attempted to be meticulous in my statements in an attempt not to be forceful or judgmental. But even then I realize that there will be people that will misinterpret my best statements.

For an example, I said in this blog “Every person will still stand before God someday and give an account for their lives.”

Now I could have quoted Romans 14:12, “So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.”

So what I said was really no different than the quote from the Bible and was directly based on Romans 14:12. This is the word of God, not mine. So if you really have a problem with that, then you will have to take that up with God.

But herein is the problem. You profess to be an atheist. And that is your choice. I accept that. I’m not speaking to the atheist. I am speaking only to those who still have one foot over the fence. I may be wrong but it would seem to me that an atheist would not even be concerned about what any believer would say or what is quoted from the Bible. Why do you even let it bother you?

I don’t care what the Muslim extremist have to say or what is written in their Koran. But when one of them comes after me to kill me, that’s where I will draw the line. I don’t imply hated toward them or other non-Christians. I don’t know of any Christians groups that would want to kill non-Christians like the Muslim extremist want to kill us. It doesn’t matter to them if you’re an atheist or Christian.

I can only ask that you read my statements more carefully. If you are not sure of what I said, I will gladly dialogue with you about it. But if you just want to accuse me of being forceful and in your face, then I don’t see any reason to discuss it. I can not change the way you feel or think nor do I want to try.

Well, you just proved my point. Job, this threat of yours is not true for all people. No, not "Every person will stand before God someday and give an account for their lives". Your God is not everyone else's God, He's your god. YOU will stand before your God and receive whatever judgment or punishment he gives YOU. Most people believe in God and yet only 1/3 of Americans believe in your god. Many believe God is a woman, many believe god is black, many believe god is an entity unlike any humane...etc.etc. So when you insist that we must be judged or stand before your God... you are being pushy. You have your God and I have my beliefs which I do not push in your face because I don't care if you are an Atheist or if you believe in a certain god...but you seem very determined to insist everyone here be a believer in your God and receive punishment from him someday. Perhaps you can say I will stand before my God someday...instead of saying we all will? That is the live and let live way...live and let live is what true freedom is all about.

As for Muslim extremist, they are no different than Christian extremist. Why couldn't women vote in the past? Why were blacks pushed to the back of the bus? Why is it that children who are born gay must live in America without the same rights as others when they grow up?. Why? Yep, Christian extremists. Christian extremist have caused much pain and suffering, they are as hateful as the Muslim extremist. Luckily many Christians are good, as are many Muslims, or this would be hell on earth for all. It is the extremist that worry me as well Job. I have seen pictures of poor innocent children, some dead, some with their legs and arms blown off, some burnt all over their little bodies from bombs ignited by Bush, a Christian extremist. We should have stayed in Afghanistan and kicked butt, but no, this was a great excuse for hateful people to kill many more who did not believe as they do....we killed maimed and created even more hate in the world and towards Americans than ever before..now it's Global. Hate breeds even more hate Job. I have seen the faces of mothers and fathers of these children who have been severely hurt or killed in tears and begging to understand why this has happened and wondering how people can be so evil. It was not these people who hurt us... they are believers in God who had nothing to do with 9/11. ... I have pictures in fact if you are brave enough to look at them. This is what we did to innocent people who had nothing to do with extremist. I take responsibility for the actions of America, I am an American...and I will also fight to mend the wrongs we have done. Admitting our mistakes and turning a wrong into a right I believe will bring many Americans and many people around the world, peace of mind and serenity.
