Thanks for the review on our recent show at TCT. I would love to see it myself. I'm not quite sure what is wrong with
using certain words, but apparently some of Tehachapi is not ready for variety at the community theater.
Don't worry folks, I'm sure TCT will have many more "Family Oriented" productions...
Climb off your high horse and go see the show; and if you're still too square to enjoy yourself....Try to relax and
let the other Adults have one night out.

Editor's note: Just to clarify, Joty was asked to edit her submission because it had nothing to do with the topic. As I recall, in the title of her blog Joty personalized the pubic hair in question, as if it figuratively belonged to the business or the business owner, i.e.: so-and-so's pubic hair. While it is a biological fact that women have vaginas and most adults have body hair, personification of intimate parts is just too much information.
It should be evident that I personally abhor censorship or more than a few bloggers and their intimate parts, including their various excretive tubes, would be at serious risk of excision.

To any of you who know me, you know I am extremely opposed to censorship. However, I don't think it's a bad thing that Tehachapi News takes the concerns of all of Tehachapi's residents into concideration. It's difficult , especially for some of our older residents to read about sexual topics. If my mom for instance who is in denial that sex still exists read some of these blogs she would swear that what was actually written was " A Virgina Public Hearing Bans Lesbians From Using Dildos". Then she would frantically telephone my cousin who lives in Virgina and tell her to dispose of all her dildos right away because it would be even more difficult for my mom to see her beloved Sally in jail.

I love controversal topics, but out of respect for some, I won't use some words in the title of my blogs that may offend some people. However, in other blogs I will react to such titles accordingly. This is just my way of thinking, I don't impose my ideas on anyone else. Bottom line I don't care what words other people use in a title....words words, mere words, what if that from the heart.

P.S. I loved the Vagina Monologues!!! Annette Kirby rocks!!!

My blog was entitled "Mama Java's Pubic Hair". Mama Java's is a business. Not to forget the fact that the reference came from a pubished letter to the editor of the TN from a woman who refused to order at MJ's for fear of having to "fish a pubic hair out of my beverage" - that was personalizing it and insulting to the young lady behind the counter (and how would one get a pubic hair from a bikini TOP?)
