 TCT LOGO4.jpg KennyC BEEKAY Begins a new life http://www.tehachapinews.com/home/Blog/KennyC/23813 http://www.tehachapinews.com/home/Blog/KennyC/23813 <p>Did you see it!&nbsp; The fence around the BEEKAY Theatre has been put in place.&nbsp; The begining of a new era for the historic theatre.&nbsp; Inside, trenches were&nbsp;dug so massive moorings could be put in place to support the front wall.&nbsp; The original floor safe was recovered as well.&nbsp;</p> <p>Tehachapi Community Theatre and the rest of the community should be excited that there will soon be a place for TCT, TCT Jr and TCT Too as well as local artists to perform.&nbsp; TCT should have the keys in the summer and be able to enter the building to do all the finishing work.</p> <p>TCT is still trying to raise the funds needed to do the finishing.&nbsp; We are currently near the $40,000 mark of our $60,000 goal.</p> <p>Visit <a href="http://www.tctplays.org">www.tctplays.org</a> and see how you can help.&nbsp; Any contribution is welcome (and tax deductable).</p> 35.132001 -118.447515
