Lost - Yellow/White Lab Puppy (Valley & Curry)

1/6/09 - Yellow Lab Puppy, almost white, 6 months old, lost around Valley & Curry and Black Oak Drive the weekend before Christmas. Was wearing a red collar but had no ID or microchip, not fixed. If you have the puppy, or have seen it, please call Debbie Page at 822-2329.

Lost Cat - Female Black/White (BVS)

1/5/09 - Female Black/White Cat, flat faced like a Persian, medium length hair, spayed, no collar/tag or microchip, lost in Bear Valley Springs near the golf course at the first green. The cat's name is Baby Girl. Reward if found. Please call Rex Welch at 821-0087 if you have the cat, or know where she is.

Found Dog - Male Boxer

1/5/09 - Male Boxer, brindle and white, taken to the Mojave shelter. Call 824-1030 to claim.

Found Dog - Golden Retriever

1/5/09 - Golden Retriever found in North Golden Hills/Oak Knolls area. Call 661-860-0744 to claim.

2 Found Dogs - Female Golden & Male Chihuahua

1/3/09 - Female Golden & Male Chihuahua found together on 1/1/09 running down Tehachapi Blvd. between Select a Switch a Chevron. The female Golden is earing a purple collar with paw prints on it. The male Chihuahua is golden in color and is wearing a red collar. These two are definitely a pair... they are best friends. Please call Audra Carrillo at 661-331-5142 to claim. She has them at her house, but cannot keep them long.

Lost - Male Bengal Cat

12/31/08 - Male Bengal Cat, neutered, tan with brown spots, lost at Dennison and Highline. He is wearing a light blue/brown collar with a pawprint pattern and a purple heart-shaped tag. If found, please contact Tami Street at 972-1720 or email gvclydesdales@gmail.com.

Found Dog - Male Black Pit/Boxer

12/29/08 - Black Male Dog found at Meadowbrook Park, estimate less than
a year old, maybe Pit Bull or boxer. Not neutered. No collar.
Friendly disposition. Had an injury on left leg and the leg was
swollen and painful for the dog to walk on. The dog also appeared
malnourished. The vet said it would hold him for 3 days. Call 822-
6731 to claim.

Found Dog - Male Great Dane (Water Canyon Area)

1/1/09 - Male Great Dane, brindle, not neutered, found on Rice Drive off Water Canyon. Very thin, wearing a beige collar, no tags, with a 2 foot dowel stuck through the collar. To claim, call Lynette at 714-6771 or leave a message with Terry at 822-1654.

Found - Male Orange/White Cat (in town)

12/26/08 - Male Orange/White Cat, neutered, with long hair, found by Tehachapi Medical Center on E Street. To claim, call the Tehachapi Vet Hospital at 822-6731.

Found Dog - Female Border Collie

Female Border Collie, black and white, estimated to be 7 to 9 years old, spayed, found by the GE Plant. Wearing a faded green collar but has no ID tag. Not sure if she is microchipped. To claim, please call Kathy at 821-1125 or 809-1017.

Found Dog - Male Coonhound

12/29/08 - Male Coonhound picked up this morning in the vacant field between Starbucks and K-Mart. He's an older, neutered male Redbone Coonhound, maybe beagle mix. Red color, about 75 pounds, no collar and doesn't look like he's been wearing one. Not horribly skinny but quite hungry. He's at Canine Canyon ranch and can be claimed by calling 823-0111. He will be sent down to Beagles and Buddies in 5 days if the owner is not found by that time.

2 Lost Dogs - Lab & Cocker (BVS)

12/28/08 - Yellow Lab & Tan Cocker lost in Bear Valley at Dart Road and Cumberland on 12/27/08. Two male dogs - one yellow lab and one tan cocker- both neutered. Yellow lab - 7yrs and cocker - 2yrs old. Both wearing black collars for electric fence. No tags, no microchips. Please contact Tracy at 661-821-0764 or 805-368-3493 if found.

Found Dog - Female Cream Color (GH)

12/19/08 - Female Cream Colored Dog, breed unknown, medium length hair, size of a German Shepherd, brown nose with black spots, found in Golden Hills. The dog is wearing a pink and green patterned collar with a gold paw charm and a Ventura County ID tag with number 836-787 on it, but there is no phone number. To claim, call Heather at 742-2469.

Lost Dog - Female Maltese (in town)

12/19/08 - Female Maltese named Snuggles, all white, lost at Mill Street and A Street in town. Not spayed, no collar/tags, no microchip. If found, please call Frank at 822-9713.

Found Dog - Male Chihuahua

12/19/08 - Male Tan Chihuahua about a year old found at Cameron and Willow Springs Road. To claim, call the Tehachapi Vet Hospital at 822-9713.

Found Dog - Male Beagle (BVS)

12/17/08 - Male Beagle, brown and black with white, found in Bear Valley on the golf course off Jamacha Dunes and Caddy. No collar, not fixed, about 5 years old. The dog is being held for the night by the people who found him, but they cannot keep the dog more than one night, so a foster home is needed ASAP. Found Dog - Female Blue/White Pit Mix

12/15/08 - Young female blue and white pit mix about 6 months old found at Highway 202 and Banducci. No collar or microchip. Call the Tehachapi Vet Hospital at 823-6731 to claim.

Found Dogs - Dachshund & Silky Terrier

12/14/08 - Female Dachshund & Male Silky Terrier found in Mountain Meadows on Dennison south of Highline. The male terrier is not neutered. He is wearing a black collar with no tags. Kelly, the person who found the dogs, will keep them for today, but the dogs will need foster homes by Monday if the owner is not located.

Lost Dog - Female Bull Terrier Mix (KB Homes)

12/11/08 - Female Bull Terrier Mix Puppy, golden brown and white, 4 months old, not fixed, no collar or microchip, lost by Tehachapi High School in KB Homes. The dog's name is Sierra. If found, please call Heather at 972-8774 or email her at peccdrs66@yahoo.com.

12/11/08 - Female Rottweiler, black and tan, spayed, lost from Welch Court near the fire station. If found, please call Harry at 822-4704.

Lost Dog - Female Queensland Mix

12/9/08 - Female Queensland Mix, white and black with red around eyes, lost on 12/7/08 at Highline and Banducci. The dog is deaf, 1 year old, and her name is Ginger. If you have the dog, or have seen her, please call 338-5633.

Lost Dog - Male Blue Heeler

12/9/08 - Blue Heeler, intact male with black patch over right eye, lost in the vicinity of Valley Blvd and Griffin near the Sonic Burger ON 12/6/08. The dog is deaf. If found, please call Blair at 972-1580 wearing a red nylon collar with a tag no chip.

Lost Cat - White Short Hair (Oak Knolls)

12/8/08 - Male White Cat, short-haired, neutered, one blue and one green eye, lost on 12/7/08 at Oak Knolls. Call Kelly at 818-219-3920 if you have have seen him.

12/8/08 - Male Cat, black and white tuxedo, missing since 11/27 from Oak Knolls on Sage Avenue. If found, please call 822-6731.

Found Dog - Male Golden Retriever (in town)

12/10/08 - Male Golden Retriever, dark reddish gold color, not neutered, found in town near the hospital. Wearing a red collar, no ID tag or microchip. Approximately 2-3 years old. Being held overnight by Noelle at 972-5823 then will be taken to the Mojave shelter on the 11th if not claimed. The shelter number is 824-1030.
