Yawn. When I find a few hours to sit back and watch the TV I spend most of my time flicking through mainly commercials. Click, click, click.</p> <p>I remember I used to&nbsp;like&nbsp;watching TV. I remember certain shows I couldn't miss. It seems there are fewer and fewer of those classic shows and an awful lot of filler. Or maybe I am just getting older and they aren't geared towards me anymore.</p> <p>I tried to make a list of fav's&nbsp;but it was pretty empty.</p> <p>I love Scare Tactics:They just started playing that on brighthouse sci-fi channel 39 at 10pm tonight, That show is hilarious, if you haven't seen it, watch it.</p> <p>To catch a thief , The deadliest catch and Ice road trucker shows are a few I like.</p> <p>Are there any shows you make a point to watch? Anything you really like but didn't think you would? Anything you hate</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

This morning, I wasn't paying much attention and he said &quot;Inside Inside now&quot; I didn;t know what he was on about but went back inside.</p> <p>When I got inside I looked out the window-and there he was. Some dude. Just there. Sitting across the street on one of those electrical boxes facing my house. Sitting. Very odd. Swinging his feet casually. Very odd. We know he doesn't live there, not on my block I'm sure, he was a pretty big fellow. He stayed there, then got up, wandered down the street, standing a few houses away at the corner. Arms crossed, Just there. Just standing. I wonder if he had any idea how intimidating he is? Just standing there........</p> <p>My husband didn't want to leave. We live in a residential neighborhood. I have always felt safe here. I'm careful nonetheless. I don;t open the door to strangers. I try to keep my doors and windows locked. I have a pretty good shot and wouldn't be afraid to use it if I needed to. Regardless, this man really intimidated me, He didn't do anything, or say anything, but just by being there, a public place I suppose he has every right to be, it still has left me with an uneasy feeling.&nbsp;</p> <p>This uncomfortable uneasiness has settled over me, and I find myself wondering where he wandered off to, listening carefully at every little noise,&nbsp;being paranoid I suppose. Will he return? Was he just waiting for my husband to leave? Was he just coincidentally there? All of these thoughts play through my mind.</p> <p>I suppose it doesn't take alot these days to make me uncomfortable. Something as simple as a stranger, carelessly swinging his feet, casually relaxed, is it just me? What about you? Does it take much for your level of comfort to be swayed into uneasiness?</p>

Yesterday, we decided to try again. We spent 6 hours fishing-looking for a catfish, a bass, a crappie, anything that would bite. We tried most everything, different bait, different top waters, different techniques, nothing worked - not a single bite for either of us all day. We've battled the bugs and also gone in the late evening, still nothing. Most of the anglers we spoke with were also having the same luck.</p> <p>We did look down once and see a catfish about a foot from the surface, He looked like he was half alive and was covered in some sort of fungus - poor fishy. There were also about 15-25 dead catfish I saw floating and up on the bank and into the weeds. That surely will be smelling nice and ripe soon. Hopefully, they have someone to clean up all the poor dead fish.</p> <p>What I am wondering is does anyone know why the catfish are dying so quick? There was no lack of sadness or tears, there was drama and uneasiness, very few smiles and alot of frustration. Life's like that. It was still a good week despite the problems.</p> <p>One day we can be floating on top of the world. The next we fall to the ground. But we get up eventually. Sometimes frustrations are at every corner but only you can choose how to deal with that. You can walk around with a scowl, being angry and unhappy or you can just accept it, smile, and be thankful.</p> <p>Be thankful for the things that didn't go wrong that could have. Be thankful for the wisdom the negative experiences have given you. Be thankful for the country you live in and the safety it provides you with. Be thankful for the opportunity to live another day.</p> <p>Smile at a stranger. Wave to your neighbor. Happiness is contagious.</p>

We rushed him to the vet but there was nothing they could do. His injuries were very bad.</p> <p>I had never been to the tehachapi vet before and just wanted to send a quick thank-you to all of the employees there. Everyone was very kind and very thoughtful from the reception staff to the vet himself.</p> <p>Even though it was a very hard time for us, your kindness and compassion did not go un-noticed or unapprecated. Thanks for all that you do.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
