http://www.tehachapinews.com/home/Blog/TweedleDD Me, myself, I, and how and what you think about me and my thoughts... en-us http://www.tehachapinews.com/home/Blog/TweedleDD/21149 <p>I'm just&nbsp;wondering what&nbsp;real&nbsp;people believe&nbsp;make up a healthy set of expectations - or at least guidelines -&nbsp;for a&nbsp;married couple's individual responsibilities.&nbsp;</p> <p>If one partner&nbsp;has historically provided the only source of&nbsp;regular income, pays all the bills and handles all&nbsp;the grown up&nbsp;details&nbsp;-&nbsp;for more than 90 percent of the relationship's lifespan -&nbsp;what responsibilities should&nbsp;the other partner&nbsp;be expected to shoulder?&nbsp;</p> <p>Does the sex (of the respective partners!!)&nbsp;matter?</p> <p>Is it fair&nbsp;to assign the bulk of the &quot;domestic&quot;&nbsp;responsibilities&nbsp;to the &quot;stay at home&quot; partner?</p> <p>Assume there are kids, a mortgage and the whole &quot;American Dream,&quot; i.e. debts and the normal stress, etc. of</p> <p>How does&nbsp;one go about&nbsp;creating,&nbsp;and most importantly&nbsp;- enforcing - said expectations?&nbsp;</p>
