It's obvious he's not a great orator, and his job approval ratings amongst the public have been dismal for years.

Now, when someone posts an internet smear against one of the Democratic candidates, most liberals here will call them out & point out the truth concerning the smear (i.e. Obama is a Muslim & a baby-killer.) Funny thing is, the original poster almost always fades away into the night & never returns to support their accusations. I'd have more respect for them if they would step up to the plate & defend their positions, but they seem to prefer to just post in a blog talking to themselves. Not a very good way to further discussions, wouldn't you say?

The press was all over Clinton's infidelities & impeachment, & look where his approval ratings were when he left office (Hint: they were much higher than Dubya's.) Credit his handling of the budget & surplus of funds when he left office, vs. how Dubya has squandered the "peace dividend" left to him & spent your children's & grandchildren's money on a war by choice.

Second, your posts regarding the Clinton's alleged corruption are just that: alleged misdeeds that have never been brought into court. I'm sure that if there were indeed evidence to back up your claims there would have been charges filed. Call me when that happens, otherwise I'll stick to the American concept of "innocent until proven guilty."

Third, don't include me in the group of folks who are taking Vader "seriously." It's pretty obvious what Vader's goal is...

That was better than the previous two months, when job growth essentially stalled. Of course, Jennings didn’t mention that the report also included an adjustment of 73,000 in those “essentially stalled” months. The overall total of jobs reported that month was 217,000 – 17,000 higher than the number he had cited.

Just as they've done with positive Iraq news, however, the Western press is burying the story when it comes to the Bush administration's achievements in Africa. Irish rock star and human rights activist Bob Geldof chided the media today for the situation:

Mr. Geldof praised Mr. Bush for his work in delivering billions to fight disease and poverty in Africa, and blasted the U.S. press for ignoring the achievement.Mr. Bush, said Mr. Geldof, "has done more than any other president so far.""This is the triumph of American policy really," he said. "It was probably unexpected of the man. It was expected of the nation, but not of the man, but both rose to the occasion."

"What's in it for [Mr. Bush]?
