http://www.tehachapinews.com/home/Blog/awsmom8/17012 Just thought I would tell you about the fun time my daughter (age 12) and I have had.  We signed up for Wilton's cake decorating class at Micheal's in Bakersfield and just finished Course One.  Me, who is artistically challenged, actually turned out a few decent looking cakes.  My daughter's cakes came out even better and she got the hang of making beautiful roses.  This week we start Course Two.  The cost was reasonable at $18.00 for 4 classes--about $4.50 per class.   Classes are held once a week for 2 hrs. and there is a total of 4 Courses. It gets you out of the house, you meet a few new people, learn something new and can impress your friend with your new skills. Anyone else taken a fun or interesting class that we could do after the cake decorating series?
