Calling an illegal alien an "Undocumented Immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "Unlicensed Pharmacist"!

“A federal judge on Thursday upheld an Arizona law that prohibits businesses from knowingly hiring illegal immigrants and yanks the business licenses of those that do. U.S. District Judge Neil Wake dismissed a lawsuit filed by business groups that argued that federal immigration law severely restricts Arizona's ability to punish people who knowingly employ illegal immigrants.”

Under the law, a business would be placed on probation after one violation and would lose its business license permanently following a second violation.

You will recall that Judicial Watch has been extremely active in the state of Arizona, especially in Phoenix, where we have been working very closely with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio on behalf of Phoenix businesses to enforce illegal immigration laws.

So, what impact is this work having on the illegal immigration population in Arizona? Check this out from The New York Times, reporting from Phoenix: “The signs of flight among Latino immigrants here are multiple: Families moving out of apartment complexes, schools reporting enrollment drops, business owners complaining about fewer clients.…a consensus is developing among economists, business people and immigration groups that the weakening economy coupled with recent curbs on illegal immigration are steering Hispanic immigrants out of the state.”

The Times makes note of one illegal alien who is pressing her husband “to return to Mexico because of the difficulty in finding a job and what the family considers a growing anti-immigrant climate.”

If this doesn’t prove the wisdom of enforcing our nation’s illegal immigration laws, I don’t know what will. If we stop rolling out the red carpet for illegals, they will leave on their own. The problem will become more manageable. It’s clearly working in Arizona. And it will work on a national basis if we finally address the problem in a common sense manner – by enforcing the law.

WHAT IF 20 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS VACATED AMERICA?

Tina Griego, journalist for the Denver Rocky Mountain News wrote a column titled, "Mexican visitor's lament" -- 10/25/07. She interviewed Mexican journalist Evangelina Hernandez while visiting Denver last week. Hernandez said, "They (illegal aliens) pay rent, buy groceries, buy clothes...what happens to your country's economy if 20 million people go away?"

That's a good question – it deserves an answer. Over 80% of Americans want secured borders and illegal migration stopped. But what would happen if all 20 million vacated America?

In California, if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupted hospitals and overrun prisons.

It would leave highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English became the dominate language again.

In Colorado , 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and grand-kids – would move back "home," mostly to Mexico.

That would save Coloradans an estimated $2 billion annually in taxes that pay for schooling, medical, social-services and incarceration costs. It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.

Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death, accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.

Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67 percent drop out/flunk out rate via thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. At least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in Colorado.

In Florida, 1.5 million illegals would return the Sunshine State back to America, the rule of law and English.

In Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free experience.

If 20 million illegal aliens returned "home," the U.S. economy would return to the rule of law. Employers would have to hire legal American citizens at a living wage.

Everyone would pay their fair share of taxes because they wouldn't be working off the books. That would result in an additional $400 billion in IRS income taxes collected annually, and an equal amount for local state and city coffers.

No more "Press 1 for English."

No more confusion in American schools that now must content with over 100 languages that degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.

We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country. In cities like L.A., 20,000 members of the "18th Street Gang" would vanish from our nation.

No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from Americans. No more foreign rapists and child molesters. Losing more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded highways and gridlock. Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American deaths by illegal aliens.

Over $80 billion annually wouldn't return to their home countries by cash transfers. Illegal migrants earned half that money untaxed, which further drains America's economy.

At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us $109 billion per year per cycle.

At least 86 hospitals in California, Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupted out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act. Americans wouldn't suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country—brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.

Our cities would see 10 million less people driving, polluting and grid locking our cities. It would also put the "secular progressives" on the horns of a dilemma; illegal aliens and their families cause 11 percent of our greenhouse gases.

Over one million of Mexico's poorest citizens now live inside and along our border from Brownsville, Texas to San Diego, California in what the New York Times called, "colonias" or new neighborhoods. The trouble is, those living areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty, filth, diseases, drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse. They live without sewage, clean water, streets, electricity, roads or any kind of sanitation. The New York Times reported them to be America's new "Third World" inside our own country.

Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they expect 50 million residents of those colonias. (I've seen them personally in Texas and Arizona; it's sickening beyond anything you can imagine.) By enforcing our laws, we could repatriate them back to Mexico.

We invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own countries and/or make a better life in Mexico.

We invite a million people into our country legally more than all other countries combined annually We cannot and must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy within our borders and growing lawlessness at every level in our nation.

It's time to stand up for our borders, our language and our culture, and our way of life.

No Nativity Scene

There will be no nativity scene in the United States Congress this year!

The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a nativity scene in

the United States Capital this Christmas season.

This isn't for any religious reason, they simply have not been able to

find three wise men and a virgin in the nation's capitol.

There was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill

the stable.

Most Americans will know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of Colorado In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an immigration-overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled to capacity by many of American's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor named Victor Hansen Davis talked about his latest book, "Mexifornia," explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal - was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America. The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, "If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.'"

"Here is how they do it," Lamm said: First to destroy America, "Turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country. History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual.

"The historical scholar Seymour Lipset put it this way: 'The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.' Canada, Belgium, Malaysia, Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy, if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans."

Lamm went on: Second, to destroy America, "Invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. I would make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal. That there are no cultural differences. I would make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.

Third, "We could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: 'The apparent success of our own multiethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentrically and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.'"

Lamm said, "I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America reinforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities."

"Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school."

"My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population."

"My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy Persia threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to over come two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. "E. Pluribus Unum" -- >From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum,' we can balkanize America as surely as Kosovo."

"Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits ~ make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate."

"Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-culturism, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America, it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them."

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound silence followed. Finally he said, "Lastly, I would censor Victor Hanson Davis's book Mexifornia. His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book."

There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Every discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America - take note of California and other states - to date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book "1984." In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: "War is peace," "Freedom is slavery," and "Ignorance is strength."

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

America's official language is...SPANISH?

If America is as angry as I am, you will realize a back-lash so stunning it will literally rock you out of your panties... and preferably, totally out of the United States Senate.

The entire immigration bill is a farce... your action only confirms this really isn't about America ; it's about self-serving politics... despicable at best.

To teresar and other thoughtful bloggers here (except xcite-why dignify him with your comments? His mind is closed and always will be. Period. He may have more monetary wealth than all of us put together, but he has less gray matter between his ears than my dog has.)

I agree with all that has otherwise been said here, but unfortunately, you’re preaching to the choir. Until, and unless, we can take our country back from the demagogues in Washington, D.C. our comments to each other will have no effect on them. Helen Keller was able to communicate better than they do! They have insulated themselves in their ivory towers and are out of touch with their own constituents.

I am on both Barbara Boxer’s and Dianne Feinstein’s e-mail lists and regularly receive entries from them. Boxer consistently sends me messages about legislation she has either sponsored or introduced regarding the terrible situations existing in Darfur, Bangladesh, Gaza, Afghanistan and other far flung countries. I sent back a message telling her to look for votes in those countries when she is up for re-election!

Our so-called “representatives” in Washington only look for 2 sets of numbers. Numbers of dollars they can rob us of to put in their personal coffers, and numbers of voters who will keep them in their Life Long Jobs. So, as individuals, we are helpless and hopeless. Remember the phrase, “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.”

Somehow, some way, we must rise up as a united force and remind them that WE are the People that they have been sent there to serve. The alternative is anarchy and revolution in the streets.

I have long been a proponent of turning our illegals back to march in the streets of Mexico City to turn around their corrupt government(s), but hell, we can’t even do it ourselves…in our own country.

Our so-called Border Fence and our brave Border Agents can do nothing to stop these illegals and terrorists from coming across the border(s). Even the well intentioned Minutemen can’t do it. Their own statistics show that they spot illegals and report them to Border Agents who apprehend them and send them back across the border. The numbers they report are 10%! That means 90% are getting across. And those 10% get back in line and try it again until they become part of the 90%.

At this rate, it will never end.

To your enumerated statistics add this one: According to FBI reports, over 50% of all homicides committed in the United States, are done by illegal aliens. Maybe the day will come when we citizens of the U.S. will have to run across the border to live in Mexico? That might be safer than living here. However, we will have to face a battery of machine guns that would make the Berlin Wall look like a romp in the park. Why? Because that’s what they have on their southern border with Guatemala. Been there, Done that. After all, it’s a lot cheaper to kill them than to have to support them (as we do) for the rest of their lives. And the DePew Institute reveals that for every single alien who makes it here and gets established is able to get an additional 27 other family and friend members here as well. It’s a geometric progression and the numbers are staggering. And Nancy Pelosi wants to FORCE the Salvation Army to hire illegal aliens who CANNOT Speak English!

Her home city of San Francisco is now issuing official ID cards to everyone who wants one, whether they are legal...or not! We don't have to concern ourselves with what the Mexican government is not doing to stem the invasion of their citizens from coming here. We are handing our country to them on a Silver Platter!

There is one, and in my opinion, only ONE way to stem the flow of illegal “immigration”. We don’t need to spend the billions of dollars on border fencing or more border guards. That won’t do any good, anyhow. The ONE way is to punish and levy sanctions against any and all U.S. employers who willingly and knowingly hire illegal aliens. We don’t even have to involve landlords in this because without a job, there is no money to pay rent. So, if they can’t work and live in this country, where do you think they will go?

THE TN POLL IS SKEWED!

The posted TN poll re: Capital Hills vs Curry St. is not a reliable indicator. Apparently they have no way of rejecting people who have already voted once. It's like the old Mayor Daly of Chicago who said, "vote early....and often"!

Of the hundreds of people who have been counted here it could well be ONE PERSON voting hundreds of times!

You have to get with today's technology TN so this can be prevented in the future. As it is, these "results" are completely unreliable and not to be believed.
