He was alert and eating but&nbsp;couldn't get up on his back legs and couldn't control his bowels. She called Tehachapi Humane Society for help, then called STOP. Her friend found us on the internet. I immediately put out calls to 3 other board members for an opinion of what to do. We all agreed to try to help the Min Pin as best we could, to at least get him X-rays. If he required expensive surgery, we would have to go to another plan since we don't have the funds. One of our members contacted the Tehachapi Humane Society for help within their Community Assistance program&nbsp;but the program rules don't allow&nbsp;helping a stray. So,&nbsp;I met the&nbsp;woman who found the dog at&nbsp;the vet's office,&nbsp;had it examined and X-rayed and it was determined that he had a severed spine and no bowel control.&nbsp;Dr. Anderson felt the dog&nbsp;was&nbsp;suffering and should be put down.&nbsp;And so now he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.</p> <p><font size="2">The owners of this nice little dog didn't have a&nbsp;name tag on him and&nbsp;didn't have him micro-chipped.&nbsp;This was a pure bred dog and as nice as he could be.
