The most inconciderate thing someone could do is to take the best of what is offered before the guest of honor or my mom and dad were served. I have a sister who takes a large helping, not sizing up the group and the amount of food offered. That has always irked the rest of us but we say nothing. We are a meek bunch. Growing up with five other siblings in a poor household food was always an issue. My mom never made enough. The unspoken rule was -do not take too much, don't take seconds before everyone has had a helping and then still do not take another plate of food if there is only a small amount left until you know that no one else wants it. Again, this rude sister ignored the rules. I can't stand inconsideration in others but I let it go. There is too much pain and suffering going on in this world to get upset over the small stuff and I lump most things rude in the small stuff catagory. My child is a member of the school's music program and I have attended every one of his concerts. It never fails, at every concert I will find very rude and inconsiderate people who choose to make noise during a performance. Most of the time these people happen to be fellow students, in which case I blame their parents for not teaching them courtesy and politeness. However, I find adults on many occasions talking to one another, talking on cell phones etc., while the children are performing. I can't imagine anything being so important that it warrants talking during a performance instead of waiting a couple of minutes for the music to end before chit chatting with their neighbor. These kids work hard learning their instruments and music and deserve undivided attention during their performance. This room was packed with about 20 other "professionals"  from different companies, all of which use the same product as part of their job.  During the class while the instructor was in the middle of his presentation, somebody's cell phone rings. That in itself is very rude because everybody should at least turn their phones to silent if not off. But I was willing to give the guy some grace because he probably just forgot to make the switch. I have made that mistake myself before and it's embarrassing because I know it's an interruption. But what does he do? He actually answers it and carries on a conversation while the instructor is conducting business! What an ass!
