Cell Phone Coverage - - matokanji's Blog - Tehachapi News

I have a question for all of you (can you believe it has nothing to do with food?), I live out in Cummings Valley and we (family) have T-Mobile as our cell provider. The coverage is not very good and we want to switch to something that works better here at home. Does anyone know if the "other" companies have a better signal here in Cummings Valley?

Feb 2, 2008 at 05:02 PM : Cingular Wireless...

Cingular Wireless (att), has pretty good coverage in Cummings Valley, they also have rollover minutes so that you tend to not go over your monthly minutes as much as with other companies. Some places it doesn't matter which company you use there is no signal there.

I have heard that Verizon has lousy coverage up here. I have ATT (formerly Cingular) and it does pretty well.

I knew this was going to happen. First I hear that AT&T is good then I hear Verizon is good. How am I going to find out without having to sign a contract with someone. Maybe I'll have a BBQ and invite people with different cell providers to see who works best at our ranch.

Feb 3, 2008 at 10:02 AM : lol...feed me,...

lol...feed me, I'll gladly bring my cell phone! We live in Sand Canyon. AT&T & Verizon both work well up here. I'd suggest you research and determine which one suits your budget better. AT&T was the better deal for us. My husband did a job out in Stallion Springs and couldn't get service a couple of days. He had to use the customer's house phone. Other than that, it's been great.
